Chapter XVI

"Why didn't your Lan clan try to find the truth? I read that the Lan clan is known for their righteous and justice. How come they didn't help Wei Wuxian?" Another student asked.

Wang Yibo glanced to his right at Lan Zhan, "I am ashamed at what my ancestors have done to Wei Wuxian. They believe in everything the Jin said about Wei Wuxian. Our Lan er gongzi got punished for believe in Wei Wuxian. If he was still alive, I will also be on his side."

"What will you said if you see Wei Wuxian descent right in front of you?" Another student asked.

"I will tell Wei Wuxian that everything he has done...he is a hero. Those that framed him, they deserve to die. He did nothing wrong....Wen Ning didn't went out of control. Someone was controlling Wen Ning."

"Wei Ying?" Xiao Zhan glanced over at where Wei Ying is at, he see Wei Ying holding onto his head with his eye went wide. "Wei Ying, what's wrong?" Xiao Zhan whispered to only Wei Ying to hear.

Suddenly Xiao Zhan see a flash of image inside of his mind, then: everything in front of them change. He wasn't in Cloud Recesse anymore, he is looking at an image from the past.

Xiao Zhan stand up, "Wei Ying!" Wei Ying eye went wide, he see what is right in front of him. He see himself, along side him is, "Wen Ning!"

"Wei Wuxian take off this curse immediately?" Shouted a person who stand on top of the mountain. "Curse? What curse?" Asked Wei Ying.

"This curse!" This person pull open his hanfu, there is big hole and small hole on his chest. "Hundreds curse?"

"You did this! Take it off right now!"

"Sorry I didn't put that curse on you. Someone else must have done it go find them," when Wei Ying and Wen Ning walk again, an arrow shot down at their feet. "If you don't lift this curse then I won't let you to go A-Lin one month."

"I told you! I didn't put this curse on you!"

Then everything went wrong, another person arrive to stop the fighting. In the end, the two of them die. Wei Ying is shock, confuse, and many more thing went through his mind.

"Zhan!" Xiao Zhan and Wei Ying snap back to reality. "Sorry, are we done?" Xiao Zhan asked as he looked at Ji Li. "We been done for a while now," Xiao Zhan look up to see Wang Yibo,and Wang Zhuocheng looking down at him.

"Our teacher said that we will be staying here for another day then we will leave for Yiling." Ji Li help Xiao Zhan up. "Yiling? Why there?" Xiao Zhan asked as all four of them left from there.

"The Lan descendant said that, in Yiling that is where Wei Wuxian live. Wei Wuxian and the Wen remnant live in a place call the "burial mound". Wang Zhuocheng answered Xiao Zhan questions.

"Yiling? Burial mound?" Wang Yibo turn to his left to look at Lan Zhan who appear next to him. "Something about the place name remind you of anything?" Wangji Yibo asked.

"I'm not sure, if we go there then maybe I will remember something."

"We can ask people there. But what will happen if you do start to remember thing, Wangji?"

"I should remember little thing at a time. Maybe, I will start to remember my past again and what happen."

"Mn."

The next day they left the Lan clan to head to Yiling. "I wonder what Yiling is like? Also, there is the burial mound that the Lan descendants was talking about? Is that place still exist?" A student talk to their friend about this.

"Well the people in Yiling is descendant of their ancestors, we can always ask them. Maybe they can tell us about it?"

"Zhan do you think we can ask around as well?" Wei Ying asked Xiao Zhan, "yeah," 'I also want to know what your live was like back then.' "Will that place help you remember, just a little bit?"

"I'm not sure Zhan. I hope that I will remember something about it."

"Before you past away, did you leave anything important behind like object or a love one?" Xiao Zhan asked. "A love one?" Xiao Zhan nodded his head. One person or said child pop up in Wei Ying mind, his eye went wide. "A-Yuan!" (Let's said that A-Yuan is very very important to Wei Ying. That is how Wei Ying remember A-Yuan.)

"A-Yuan? Who is that?" Xiao Zhan asked. "A-Yuan, a child that....that....I cherish the most. But I don't remember his surname."

'Must be very hard to not remember their surname.' "Do you remember what A-Yuan look like?" Wei Ying shake his head no, "If I still live in the past then A-Yuan will be a teenager now." 'A-Yuan will be a good and smart cultivator.'

"Do you think A-Yuan still have any relative that is still alive?" Xiao Zhan asked. "I wish that I can tell you Zhan but I don't remember anything." "Wei ying, calm down, breath, take your time to remember thing. This trip will help us find the answer."
