Today, Kaveh is moving into Al Haitham's house and he is feeling anxious and nervous about starting his new life in an old friend's house. He knocks on the door and his face shows the uncertainty he is feeling. When the door opens, Kaveh is surprised to see Al Haitham with messy hair and a sleepy face.

'He looks kinda... cute? WAIT, WHAT AM I THINKING?!' thought Kaveh, with a small smile, as he looked at Al Haitham.

"You're here early," Al Haitham said as he checked the time.

"As the saying goes, the early bird catches the worm," Kaveh joked around.

There was a brief pause before Al Haitham responded.

"Okay, okay. That was lame. You can't take jokes these days, huh?" said Kaveh, trying to hide his embarrassment.

"Whatever, come on in," said Al Haitham as he walked back into his house. Kaveh followed him.

Upon entering the house, Kaveh noticed that it was significantly cleaner than the day before. He followed Al Haitham's steps until he reached an unused room.

"This will be your room from now on. Please feel free to settle in and make yourself at home," said Al Haitham, as he continued to explain other arrangements.

"The bathroom is next to the library, the kitchen is over there, and here is my study room," Al Haitham showed Kaveh around the house. Kaveh followed in Al Haitham's steps, taking mental notes.

"And here is my room. Don't go in there unless it is necessary," Al Haitham stopped in front of his room.

"Okay, thanks for the tour," Kaveh said to Al Haitham.

"Yea, yea, I need to get ready for work. See you," Al Haitham replied as he went into his room and shut the door.

"damn him, he is as rude as ever," Kaveh grumbled while walking towards his new room.

Kaveh walks into the room and is pleasantly surprised by its aesthetic appeal. The walls and carpets match his taste perfectly, and the placement of the bed, wardrobe, and shelves is just right. It seems like someone had planned this all out meticulously.

'did Al Haitham do all of this?' he wondered in amazement as he looked around his room.

'Did he do this for me?' he pondered, and he didn't notice the smile that appeared on his face.

'Kaveh, stop with these delusions! Oh my archons, come on! He might just have the same taste as you! WAKE UP!' Kaveh slapped his cheeks and snapped back to reality.

After he snapped back to reality, he quickly organized his things to their respective places. He needed to finish organizing quickly since Al Haitham was not the only one with work that day. He too needed to meet up with a few clients.

-one hour later-

"Okay, I'm done organizing. Time to head to work," Kaveh said as he quickly grabbed his necessary items and a few blueprints he needed to show his clients.

As Kaveh was about to leave, he noticed that Al Haitham was also getting ready to leave.

"You're leaving too?" Al Haitham spoke as he was about to open the front door.

"Yeah," Kaveh replied hesitantly.

"Such a hard worker," Al Haitham said, smiling, and left the house, leaving Kaveh surprised.

'What the hell, what the hell, WHAT THE HELL?! HE SMILED? HE CAN DO THAT!?' Kaveh felt a sense of panic and proceeded to squat down while blushing.

"Calm down, Kaveh. You need to get to work." Kaveh took a deep breath, composed himself, got up, tidied himself up, and left the house.

A whole day passed, and Al Haitham arrived home after a hectic day at work. He arrived later than usual and expected Kaveh to already be in the house. However, when he opened the door, he noticed that there was no presence.

"Is Kaveh still at work? But it's late already," Al Haitham muttered to himself as he looked at his analogue watch.

"Wait... I feel like I'm forgetting something..." Al Haitham came to the realization.

"WAIT A MINUTE, I DIDN'T GIVE KAVEH THE HOUSE KEY YET!" Al Haitham shouted.

Al Haitham rushed out of the house. The feeling of panic and guilt followed him.

"Where could he be, where could he be, where could he be?!" Al Haitham muttered to himself as he ran around the Sumeru city.

As he ran around searching for Kaveh, Al Haitham noticed a familiar figure wandering around in the Grand Bazaar.

Without hesitation, he approached the figure and asked, "Tighnari, have you seen Kaveh?" in a panicked tone.

"Calm down, don't panic. I just left him at the tavern with Cyno," Tighnari tried to calm Al Haitham down.

Al Haitham sighed in relief.

"Uh, but you'll find him dead drunk. He was relieving his stress by drowning in alcohol. Fortunately, Cyno and I were there and saw him, so we kept him company," Tighnari informed Al Haitham.

"It's been so long since we saw him, so we caught up for a bit and didn't realize it was so late," Tighnari continued.

"Haaa, I forgot to give him my spare house key this morning. Good thing everything went well," Al haitham spoke with a relieved expression.

"Yea, I know," Tighnari replied with a smirk.

"What's with that face?" Al haitham questioned Tighnari.

"Oh, nothing~ Better be on your way. I need to pick up a few more things from other stalls," Tighnari said as he waved goodbye to Al haitham.

Without a second thought, Al haitham sped up his steps and rushed towards the tavern.
