Nightmare Dreams

The final destination

They eventually arrive back at the house and already in appears unrecognizable. As the rain pours setting a mood for them, the house now appears as a dark abandoned building. No lights on inside as the time is again approaching towards sun down with only a few minutes.

The dark gray clouds surround the house like it was something you'd see from at an angle in a movie.

"Well....lets go in." Says Eerrick as he heads towards the door leading everyone else off. Looking around though, Meg looks as she notices a woman looking through the window at a house behind them. She points it out to Miles but then closes it quickly as if she didn't want to be spotted.

"That was weird." Meg comments.

"Some nosy ass people." Comments Mile.

But they ignore it as they see everyone else going in. As Eerrick being the first to open the door but the door doesn't want to budge at first. Like either its locked or someone's blocking it on the other side. "Is it locked?" Ask Meg. But trying the lock, it won't twist meaning its already unlocked. "Hello? Is someone blocking the door?" He shouts.

Suddenly the nosy neighbor eventually comes out and heads towards them. "Is this your house?" She asks. "No but its my grandpas." Meg says. "Ohh. I was wondering what you were doing. I suppose you've just came back?" She wonders. "Yeah we've had some weird occurrences going on so we've all had to stay at a hotel." Tells Meg. "Oh right well i'd be careful if i were you youngens going in in there. I've seen some very weird phenomenons happening, lights flickering and just weird things happen." She alerts them. "Alright thank you we will." Says Miles back.

She walks off.

Just then superstitiously, the door feels light again as Eerrick opens it. Looking confused but thankful. They walk into the gloomy hallway. Trying the lights but nothing works. "Is there anyone here?" He calls out. Everyone's fear in every horror movie is always the one person to call out. "Why the fuck would you do that. That's how the first person dies." Says Brooke with her bitchy tone.

A few seconds after something, a small ornament falls off the shelf and onto the floor. It looks like a bear with a wheelbarrow. "what the heck." Blurts Meg.

"We need a quiet area." Says Eerrick. Meg points to the door under the stairs. It opens and they go in. They sit on the floor closing the door but not fully.

Adi is the first this time to call out for anything. "Is there anyone here that wants to communicate with us then please do so."

With the house already creaking as it is, a dozen noises enough to put you in edge to make you think if there's something about. The house is silent for a while all of a sudden. "Guys. Has the house just gone silent all of a sudden?" Whispers Adi. "Yeah." Says Meg. "That's not a good sign." Just then a noise is heard from upstairs. But a strange phenomenon occurs. Miles takes out his phone to get a signal, he raises his hand up to reach for a connection but when he brings his harm back down his phone makes a weird noise. A noise of an interfere connection. The type a walkie talkie makes when someone is trying to come through.

"Huh?" He pulls the phone closer to him. "Turn the volume up." Eerrick says. The volume is turned up and Miles speaks first. "Hello?" Being sat by the door with Luke next to him, Eerrick next to Luke. Miles is hearing the creaking that's coming from upstairs going through to his phone like a wave frequency. He looks up to where its coming from the more it comes through.

But then, Luke hears an odd sound, of what's heard to be the sound of a ball pit coming through. The sound comes through as clear as day as if its a voice recording.

Just then a sound of  what's heard like something dropping down the stairs. "What's that?" As Meg notices it. "I thought it was-" Brooke looks out the door and quickly appears back....a small plastic ball. Red colour. Rolls and then stops right by them. The sudden moment of fear fulfilles the air around them. "Something knows we're here." Steph whispers. As a faint feminine voice comes through. "They're here." Leaves everyone stunned.

"Nope we need to go- are we going- can we go-" Miles says as they rush out of there. Exiting the house as fast as possible running straight to their car. Before heading back off again.

Looking back though Shannelle screams out "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT??" Eerrick turns around to spotting what looks like a person in black running after them. They all watch back as Adi yells for the driver to speed up as the figure looks close.

Reaching the end of the road turning the corner sharply they eventually lose sight of the "humanoid".

Everyone is relieved.

"Just got a message from Kay. They're gonna meet us back at the hotel." Says Eerrick.
