"Guess what, moonlight!"
Muzan was busy stroking Kokushibo's hair as he worked. He gave Kokushibo's hair a little tug, which drew a whine from the latter. Kokushibo didn't seem to mind, as his head soon turned to look over his shoulder at Muzan.
"What.. is it..?"
Kokushibo was concerned. He didn't know if Muzan had just done something amazing with his chemistry work, or something had gone very wrong. But, judging by the cheery tone of Muzan's voice, it must be a good thing.
"I love you!"
Muzan smiled, and planted a kiss on Kokushibo's temple. This was very unlike him, Kokushibo also clearly seemed confused—but wasn't opposed to it. He gasped a little, chuckled and turned around to embrace Muzan. Kokushibo scooped Muzan up, and snuggled him close.
"I love.. you, more."
Kokushibo kissed Muzan's chin, nuzzling Muzan's neck.
"No, you don't."
"Yes, I do."

And, they continued bickering for the rest of the night. That was until Muzan kissed Kokushibo's lips to force him to just accept it.
