I stepped towards the gate as the sounds of laughter and music were coming from the other side. The sky looked so much more vibrant and alive on the other side compared to the sky on this side, all cloudy and grey. A strong smell hits my nose as I could smell all types of different foods and sweets. 'I wanna go there...I want to see what's on the other side...' I thought to myself as I slowly took a couple of steps forward to the entrance of the gate. The smell was getting stronger and the noises were getting louder. 'I'm so curious to see but I know my parents would get mad at me if I go...' Still I contemplated weather or not I should go. I decided to walk through the gate entrance but as soon as I got halfway, I stopped in the middle of the entrance as I noticed a person walking towards it as if they had just gotten back from where.

"Had your little fun?" A Marleyan officer asked in an annoyed tone to the person as they were standing in front of me, the officers that were present there didn't noticed me at all. "I sure did, Mark!" The person, who was a girl, responded with a smile as she was holding cotton candy in one hand and a balloon in the other. The girl seemed to have been walking towards me as I was just frozen in place as I somehow was not expecting this scenario. The officers looked behind them to see me just standing in place while clutching my bag. "Hey kid! What the hell do you think your doing?! Show us the permit you have to go through or we'll have to discipline you for trying to escape!" The officer named Mark yelled at me as the other were staring at me in disgust. "I-I..I..." I was shaking like a leaf and I couldn't find the right words to tell them anything. "I told her to wait for me here." The girl responded as she was still holding a sweet smile towards the officers. 'Huh?' I was confused because I have never met this girl in my life but I stayed silent knowing that she was doing me a favor to avoid any punishments from the officers. "I-I'm glad y-your back!" I abruptly spoke as I awkwardly smiled at her.

"Bullshit!" Mark yelled as he glared at the both of us. "There's no way that you two know each other! Prove it!" The officer demanded and my eyes widen slightly. "Come on now, would you just relax. Of course we know each other! She's starting the warrior program tomorrow." The girl spoke without hesitation as handed me the balloon and swung her arm around me. "Now let's get going shall we?" The girl closed her eyes and smiled at me. As she still had her arm around me, I began to follow her lead as we were walking away from the entrance. "Hey get back here! Both of you will be punished for lying!" Mark the officer yelled furiously and we both stoped walking as I looked up at her, she turned her head towards the officers as she had a displeased look on her face as she lowered her gaze towards them. "Punish us and I'll make you regret it...." She spoke lowly as her (e/c) was glowing intensely at them. 'Scary....' I mentally thought as sweat was dropping from the side of my forehead. I couldn't believe that she was talking back to Marleyan Officers like that, then I finally noticed her armband it was a different color. 'She's from the Warrior Unit!' I thought as my eyes sparkled as I watched her. "You think your all that Huh?! But being the spawn of the devil doesn't make you two any more special!" Mark was yelling out to us, but the girl gently pushed my back gesturing to continue walking forward with her and to ignore the man. After hearing the man's harsh comment as we were walking, I looked up to take a glance at her expression but I was met with just a closed eyes smile from her. 'Does the comments not bother her?' I thought to myself.
