I walked around the neighborhood looking for the kids that were playing with each other when I was walking with Grisha, but unfortunately I couldn't find them. 'That's strange...I thought they were playing around here...'  I thought as I came to a corner, I over heard some voices.

"That's why you have no friends!" I heard a boy yell, and my eyes widen as I approached them. There were three older boys bullying a blonde haired boy who was curled up into a ball on the ground. "You think anyone would want to be friends with someone who's a coward and a nerd!" One of the other boys yelled as the blonde haired boy looked up at them with teary eyes. "I-I-I'm not a coward!" The boy stuttered out which caused the three older boys to laugh at him. This made my blood boil as I clenched both of my fists. 'Why are they being so mean to him...' I thought as this angry feeling felt familiar before. "Loser!" One of the boys yelled out as he kicked the blonde haired boy. "Hey! Stop it!" I finally yelled as I started to run towards him. "Huh? Who's that?!" One of the boys stared at me confused. "I've never seen her here before?" Another boy spoke as he looked at the leader of their trio. "Wow! Now you need a girl to save yo—OW!" The boy yelled out as I tackled him on the ground, and I automatically started to punch him multiple times. It's almost as if I have done this before. "So what if I'm a girl?! I'm not weak!" I yelled out as I raised my fist ready to punch the boy again, but one of the other boys pulled me off of their friend and tossed me next the blonde haired boy. "Let's leave!" The boy yelled as he helped his injured friend up. "Next time you'll both pay for this!" The injured boy cried as I took a good look at his face. 'I hurt him really badly...' I thought as the boy's nose was bleeding badly, the trio of boys glared at me as they started to runaway. I then looked down at my hands. 'My body just jumped into action....it felt something automatic like if I have done this before...but where? And when?' I thought as the blonde boy next to me on the ground was sniffing and wiping away his own tears. I got up as I dusted myself off, I then turned towards the blonde haired boy.

"Are you alright?" I asked and his eyes widen as he looked at me with his beautiful blue watery eyes. "I-I'm fine! T-Thank you..." The boy responded as he rubbed his eyes with his light blue sleeves. "What's your name?" I asked as the boy looked up at me. "M-My name?" The boy asked in a whisper as he seemed taken aback by my sudden question, which confused me. "Uh...y-yes, your name?" I asked again as I smiled awkwardly at him. 'Was it something I said...' I thought as I awaited for his response. "M-My name is Armin Arlert..." The boy named Armin spoke shyly. "Armin, my name is (Y/n) (L/n). Would you like to be my friend?" I asked as I smiled brightly at him. Armin had a shocked expression as he stared at me confused which caused me to feel anxious at his response. "I-I don't really have any friends...hehe...and I-I'm also new around here..." I chuckled in embarrassment as I scratched the back of my head. "Y-You want to be friends with someone like me?" Armin asked as he looked confused at me. "Yeah, why wouldn't I?" I responded as Armin's cheeks were dusted in a light pink color as he looked away ashamed. "B-Because of what they said about me...y-you wouldn't want to be friends with me anyways because they'll bully you too..." Armin spoke lowly which caused me to frown slightly. "Ignore them, they're just jerks! And so what if they bully me, I won't let them get to me!" I responded and he stared at me in awe. "So, let's be friends Armin!" I smiled as I extended my hand down towards him. He seemed to hesitate at first as he looked from my hand to my eyes. "S-Sure!" Armin stuttered out as he took my hand and I pulled him up. Once he stood up my eyes widen slightly as I realize the slight height difference between me and him.
