It was Wednesday but even tho It was the middle of the week I didn't have to get ready for work today because Monica suggested that I stay home until Monday so she'll be able to gain some experience as a starting assistant without my help. I had a lot going on for the past few weeks so I didn't whine about it. I woke up at around 1 pm since I fell asleep around 3. It's already been two weeks since we filmed Jack's commercial for New Balance. I picked up my phone from the nightstand and opened YouTube. As I was expecting the commercial was already out.

I clicked on the title and fifteen seconds later I was done watching. It turned out really good and I was proud that I could help work on it. I went on Instagram just to see Jack and other people already reposting it on their profiles so did I, on my story. Aaliyah was out of the city for her boyfriend's birthday till' Saturday so I didn't have many things to do as we spend almost every weekend together. I got up from bed and headed straight to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast. I put on my AirPods and decided to play 'Churchill Downs' by Jack and Drake as I ended up listening to most of his work already.

I sat down on the couch with coffee after I was done with breakfast. I grabbed my phone just to see an upcoming call from Jack as my phone was on Do Not Disturb.

"Hey Jack," I said as I answered his call.

"You free today?" He asked and I immediately made a confused face to myself.

"I guess so," I replied knowing damn well that I would be staying in bed for the whole day. "Why?" I added before he even could answer.

"Urban and I, we're sittin' in the studio and we thought you wanted to hang out with us" Jack cleared.

"Yeah, sure"

"So I'll send you the address, pull up whenever you want"

"Okay see ya," I said before hanging up the call. I opened my Instagram DM's to see Jack sending me an address. It was already 3 pm so I did my makeup and went to my wardrobe to try finding an outfit to wear.  I picked dark blue baggy jeans with a white flare top. I rushed to the hallway to put on my shoes and grabbed my bag. I walked into the elevator and rode it to the underground parking lot after I locked my apartment. I got into my car and typed Jack's studio into my car's GPS. I drove through Louisville streets and after five minutes I pulled up to the place, parking my car on the side of the walkway. I opened the door of the place which I assumed was the studio.

"Heyy," I said as I walked inside looking for the guys.

"Yo," Urban said walking out of one of the rooms in here. "Come inside," He let me in. Jack was already sitting on the sofa with his head in his phone but he immediately put it down as he saw me come inside. His curls were falling on his face as usual and he was wearing a black new balance tracksuit.

"Are you guys workin' on anything?" I asked as I sat down next to Jack.

"We're just playin' on some samples for Jack's new song," Urban said. Jack nodded his head making it clear for Urb to play it for me. Urban clicked a few things on his computer and started playing "Whatever (Bass Soliloquy)" by Cadillac Dale from what they told me. And after a second, music resounded throughout the studio

"Whatchu think?" Jack asked me as the song stopped playing.

"That's goin' to be so good," I said as I truly meant that. Jack smiled widely showing off his white teeth as he made himself comfortable on the couch next to me. I knew I just boosted up his ego which made me giggle.

"I mean for now we're just takin' a look at our options and it'll still take some time to even start workin' on it but it's better than nothin'," Urb added and Jack agreed.

"When would you plan on droppin' when it'll be done?" I asked.

"I haven't thought bout it..maybe November?" Jack replied looking at Urb for confirmation who was lighting a blunt. He showed it to me letting me know that he was asking if I wanted one too. I laughed to myself seeing Urban like this. "Anyway we'll play you it fully before I'll drop, promise" Jack added making me smile.

"You got a boyfriend?" Urb asked catching me and Jack off guard so hard as none of us expected this question.

"No, why?" I asked confused.

"Jack thought you did base on your Instagram posts," He looked at Urban with a facial expression that literally said "Shut the fuck up" as I probably shouldn't hear that. Urban in response to his look only shrugged his shoulders. Meanwhile, I was disoriented as I didn't know what they were talking about.

"Oh..yeah, I mean they are some old ones I forgot to delete them, we broke up about a year ago.." I said as I finally got what they were talking about.

"What happened?" Urban asked again totally unbothered by the fact that he just put out Jack. It reminded me of the situation with Neelam. "Sorry for bringin' it up tho" He added after a realization.

"He cheated on me," I cleared as I looked down at my hands playing with my rings.

"Damn," Jack responded as Urban was making a shocked face.

"Nah I'm good tho, I guess it turned out for the better.." I said as a smile was brought up on my face again. I didn't feel like it was the right time for a talk like this.

"Glad to hear that," Jack responded. We ended up staying in the studio until midnight talking about everything we possibly could think of. I started getting really close to them which made me happy because we really enjoyed each other's company.
