(Sara unexpectedly activates her dance magic on Earth which makes her popular... sort of. Meanwhile, in the Danceverse, Jack borrows Discoball to gain more followers and Night Swan tries to manipulate Sara for her own personal game)
You may think today's story is going to start in the Danceverse again...technically yes, but for now, we're going to step back for a while and head to Earth where Sara is from. Speaking of, Sara along with her mortal friends, Amanda and Micah were hanging posters around the school hallway that read Cancer Awareness: Be Cancer Free!
"Thanks for your help guys," Sara smiled to her friends.
"Well, let's just hope people are interested in this cancer volunteer work," Micah responded.
"Oh, they will." Sara nodded, "Getting others involved with Cancer Research Day will be perfect. And we'll raise even more money to help local hospitals everywhere!"
"Well, we better get going," Amanda said, "Cuz kids are heading for lunch."
Indeed, kids were already at the cafeteria having lunch. Sara walked in, holding a microphone in hand while standing by her poster.
"Aheam," She coughed, "Students of Syracuse High, my name is Sara Bridget. You may have noticed that this week is Cancer Research Day, and besides Pink Out we have every year, I propose another way--"
While talking, everyone looked on with boredom, not even listening to Sara's ideas for cancer awareness.
"This year, I have planned....a full week of fun volunteer activities to help raise money to help hospitals everywhere find the cure for cancer. Because no one should suffer alone from this terrible disease."
However, it wasn't enough to convince the school committee. Everyone groaned at her idea to save the world.
"Not another one of these lost causes..." One kid complained as she face-palmed herself before walking away.
Other kids around threw the flyers to the ground, not interested in Sara's idea. Poor Sara looked on with disappointment that her idea was rejected.
"So, how'd we do?" Amanda asked with a smile, as she arrived with Micah.
"So far, it's been nothing but failure," Sara said with disappointment, pointing at the flyers that were stacked neatly. "No one even took one, did they?"
"To be fair," Micah said, holding up one of the flyers, "these flyers do look bland for that matter."
Amanda quickly elbowed her friend hard in order not to screw up Sara's dream, "Dude! But don't give up, Sara, I'm sure you can convince someone at the school to listen to your idea."
"There are so many things that need changing. How can I make the world a better place if nobody is willing to listen?" Sara rambled on, not noticing her shoes glowing and her friends backing up. "With cancer going on in the world, there's so much potential! I just want to help!"
Without her knowing, Sara unknowingly activated her dance magic, making her hair blue and her whole outfit change. This caused students around them to gasp in shock, murmuring as they came closer.
"Okay," One student suddenly nodded. "Tell us more about those volunteer activities, Sara."
"Really? Who wanna hear my ideas?" Sara asked with a giggle, while Amanda and Micah looked bewildered... did she even know about her dance magic being activated? And how did she do that?
**************************************************
A bit later, Sara and her friends continued to hand out flyers from their stand, with Sara still in her Danceverse avatar form, while the student council members talked with Amanda about the volunteer work and Micah handed out pamphlets about cancer.
