"moonlight! happy birthday!" joao and gabby said as we all entered the house after school. marc, hayden, and hector smiled as they looked at me.

"thank you, i guess i'm officially 18 today" i said as they both brought me into a hug.

"how was school?" gabby asked as we all walked to the living room.

"boring, same thing everyday" i said as i sat down on the couch. they all joined me on the couch.

"every single day" hayden agreed with me. i looked around to see if eclipse was around or even chris.

"who are you looking for?" marc asked me as i shrugged looking at him.

"i don't know" i said frowning my eyebrows. they all laughed at me.

"are we doing anything for you today?" hayden asked as she looked at me and at gabby. i looked at gabby who shrugged her shoulders.

"no, we can save it for this weekend." i said as i got up grabbing my backpack and marc.

"we're going to my room...alone" i said as marc smiled at me. they nodded their heads.

"you guys do that everyday, can you just hang out with us for once?" joao asked. i looked at him pressing my lips together.

"no" i said as i stuck out my tongue. he rolled his eyes at me. they all laughed as marc and i went upstairs to my room.

"you sure you don't want to spend time with them on your birthday?" marc asked. i turned to look at him as i shrugged.

"i just want to be with you" i said as he looked back at me, smiling. we hugged as i wanted to be in his arms. we both heard the door opened.

"happy birthday moony! you are officially 18!" lamine shouted as i smiled. even if i wanted to be alone with marc, i didn't mind them interrupting us. i let marc go.

"happy birthday to you.." pau began to sing as lamine held up the cake smiling as he looked at me. i noticed everyone behind them recording.

"make a wish!" joao shouted as i was getting ready to blow them out without thinking of anything.

"a real wish this time." gabby smiled as i nodded my head. i looked up at all of them as they watched me.

"oh now she's going to cry" isabel said as i closed my eyes and was thinking of a wish for a minute. i opened them and blew the candles.

"shut up" i said after i looked at them and wiped my eyes. they all laughed at me.

"moonlight isn't a child anymore" pau said as i smiled at the nickname. it was my favorite nickname anyone had given me. well, gabby started it.

"so we're all gonna just call her moonlight now?" gabby said raising an eyebrow. i laughed as marc nodded his head.

"moonlight is the nickname now" joao said laughing as he nudged gabby.

"no, i'm sticking to moony" lamine said as he handed pau the cake because his arms were getting tired.

"or better yet we can all just call me by my name! luna!" i smiled as i gave them all a thumbs up. they looked at me and at each other.

"cake is good, where'd you get it lamine?" i asked him smiling as he was also shoving his face with cake.

"the barca cafe" he smiled as he gave me a thumbs up. i laughed as everyone else did too.

"that's so cute" gabby commented as lamine blushed from the sudden comment.
