It was a usual day at Schale. Days had passed since the incident with Haruka being on duty. Sensei hadn't gotten a chance to see her or any of the Problem Solvers since then due to work piling up, and today was no exception.
No students were scheduled for duty today, so Sensei was on his own. Arona herself had been preoccupied with sleeping - nothing out of the ordinary here. He just might be staying late here, and if so he would need to take a break just for that.
A long one, that is.
Sensei got up from his desk, leaving his office to get himself some food. A cup of ramen wasn't going to do it today, he was going to need something with more substance. As he left, he looked out the office windows and at the rain that hadn't stopped pouring since he had arrived this morning.
. . .
Schale's Angel 24 Convenience Store. It was void of anyone, apart from Sora like usual who was using her phone from behind the counter. Sensei walked over nearby, just looking at her. Business like usual.
"So bored... Ah!" Sora placed her phone away and stood there modestly. "S-Since when did you get here?"
"Hello, Sora."
"Welcome, Sensei... What brings you here?"
"Just here to get some food."
"Would you like the expired bentos again? I can get them for you."
"Not today. Save those for the Rabbit Squad when they make their rounds."
"Understood. But would they be coming in this weather?" Sora noted, moving aside to glance outside.
"If they're in need they will, I'm sure." Sensei brought over a single bento to the counter. "It would beat just sitting around at their camp."
"So this will be all?" Sora scanned the bento.
"Actually...no I'll take four more."
"All for you?"
"No, it's for a couple of others. I don't mind sparing the time to visit them. It's been a while."
"Is it the Rabbit Squad?"
"Another group of students."
"You sure must be busy, huh, to juggle this and then work." Sora then rang up the bentos, and after paying for them, Sensei prepared to leave, heading outside in front of the Schale building and under the shade where he was shielded from the rain.
On one hand while carrying the other, the five bentos in a plastic bag. Opening up the umbrella, he walked out into the unrelenting rain and to his destination.
. . .
After walking to the Gehenna District, Sensei arrived at the office building that housed Problem Solver 68's space that he had helped them to acquire recently. He arrived at their space, letting himself in like he often would when visiting.
Often when they were present it was left open for clients and locked when it wasn't. Once through the main hall's entrance, he saw them in their own little meeting room together, sitting. For only having four members, five if you count Sensei himself as their business advisor, their office space was quite exquisite, perhaps, too much.
But Aru insisted that it was befitting for a crew like them and how could he say no to her? To the any of the Problem Solvers? For all it was worth, everything was reasonable.
Guns and some ammo on the table, along with some papers, which Kayoko and Aru were looking through while Mutuski was looking at some board game that was unopened. Haruka was not present for some reason.
