A wasteland...

That was how Kivotos appeared to Sensei as he alone urgently ran through the city that had once been full of life. Every step he took had a small splash of water as it had rained heavily prior, but it was now only drizzling.

Buildings were either toppled over or wrecked due to the carnage, and the streets either were cracked or had craters in them due to explosives, the kind more powerful than what he had ever seen before.

Trails of smoke far and near led up to the sky. The blue that used to fill up the sky no longer was there and all could be seen was a somber gray color.

Gunshots were heard but where they were coming from couldn't be seen. It wasn't him that was being targeted at least, but he couldn't wait for that to be the case. His chances of surviving anything that would come his way now was more slim than ever due the Shittim Chest's power.

Just how did it lead to this?

Sensei had been asking himself that question since this all had begun. And he knew the answer to that question. But that didn't matter right now. He wasn't sure what else to do, but he needed to do what he could until he was unable to anymore.

"How is everyone doing?!" Sensei said to his earpiece. "Respond!"

All that followed was either static, silence or more gunshots. No voices. No, this couldn't be. Were the opposing forces too strong? Nothing was going right!

"Problem Solvers... Don't tell me..."

Sensei didn't have any time to indulge in his thoughts as he saw something that caught his eye nearby. A single-planted C4 colored purple nearby a car and he approached it. Only one person had this commonly in her arsenal.

"Haruka...? Haruka, are you nearby? D.U Zone..." Sensei tried to recall the location he was at when the C4 detonated before his very eyes.

He was airborne for he knew it and was brought down to the ground, bracing for it ever since he was off his feet. He landed on his back, getting the wind knocked out of him. He was hurt badly, but he could move.

Just barely.

"Why...why would she do that...?" Sensei wondered as he laid there, coughing as he tried to scan his surroundings with his blurry vision. "Haruka, it's me, Sensei. Cease fire...!"

"Exactly..." responded a voice that was hers, yet different. "You're who I'm looking for..."

As Sensei's vision began to finally focus, he looked up and saw Haruka approaching. Except...she looked different. It was her, yet it wasn't her? Her eyes stuck out. They were dull. Lifeless. This was not the student he had been with just earlier. All this time.

"What...what happened to you, Haruka...? What...what are you doing...?"

"You're the last one."

"What...?"

"All my suffering was all for this. It led to the truth. One that I wouldn't have found without it leading me. In order for all of it to end and never happen again. This world must be destroyed. Everyone must be exterminated. Just as it was in my world..."

"Wait, no..."

Haruka pumped her shotgun and aimed it down at Sensei. The barrel of the gun staring down at him.

Yet, Sensei's eyes could only focus on Haruka's eyes, which now expressed hesitance. Regret. Fright. Her grip on her gun was shaking. However, she still pulled the trigger and all became black.
