Dirty little secret

Homework sucks. Math also sucks. So math homework is a nightmare. I put my head on my desk and groan. My parents aren't home so I can't ask them for help. I stare at the first question and furrow my brows.

What even is that. I roll my eyes because my mind doesn't seem to work at the moment. I let out a sigh and connect my MP3 player (ITS 2010 OK) to a music box.

I go through my playlist and smirk when I see Rodricks 'least' favorite song at the moment. "Dirty little secret" played by The All-American Rejects. It's pretty old but I really really like it and put it on full volume.

Oh and Rodrick's visiting later because of a history project (we're partners). I look at the clock, in about 5 minutes he should be knocking at the door. I grin to myself as I remember how he insulted the song.

I jump around my room and mouth the lyrics. Just then I hear the bell ring. I run down the stairs to open the door and welcome Rodrick in. The musics playing loud so you can hear it down here. He looks at me. "Why are you listening to that?" He asks.

I giggle. "I really like it." I tell him. He rolls his eyes and we go to my bedroom to start the project. I lower the volume and sit on my bed. "I think we both can agree that MCR is way better." (YALL CANT TELL ME HE DOENST LISTEN TO MCR)

I shake my head and he seems offended by that. He puts a hand on his chest and looks at me with wide eyes. "I know you did not just shake your head." I start laughing.

Time skip
We are midway through the essay.  I let out a long sigh. Rodrick turns his head to look at me. I can see him observing my face so I turn to him. "What are you looking at?" I say and shove his shoulder playfully. (I hate when people look at your face for too long)

He chuckles and pushes my arm back. We look at each other smiling and he leans in to kiss me. "You know I only said I hated that song so the others wouldn't get suspicious of us." He admits and I nod. "I know, you're my dirty little secret after all." I say back.
