Chapter 3 (final)

My heart raced. I could feel the beats of my heart even in my brain. I was so nervous, there was sweat on my body. My hands were shaking. I looked him in the eyes and opened my mouth to say that one popular sentence with the three words. But I couldn't. Not yet at least...

"Alhaitham I- I uh have something to tell you."

said Kaveh, not thinking clearly as his emotions were controlling him more than his brain.

"Yes. I'm listening."

Kaveh decided to be completely honest with him. Minutes ago he was so scared, he still is, but collected himself and fought to be brave again.

"Okay so this might be a bit gross, no no, it's actually not gross at all. Okay okay, listen, I'm going to be completely honest with you now okay? Is it.. uh.. is that fine with you?"

Asked Kaveh, nearly having tears in his eyes because of nervousness, his face already completely red.

"Ah, you don't have to. You already told me two days ago."

said Alhaitham with no emotion in his face, pouring himself another cup of tea.

"Haha, uh... no. I- wait what?"

"Do you want coffee? I made you coffee. But there is also tea, so you can choose."

"Ah- uh- coffee then. No but wait- what do you mean I told you two days ago? On the day we all celebrated that I had enough money to buy myself a home?"

Alhaitham poured Kaveh a cup of coffee and putting it on the table in front of him.

"Take care, it's still hot. But yeah, the day at the tavern. It was nice there. We should finish the game Tighnari invented, it sounded interesting."

"Hey that's kinda off topic! But what game? I told you I don't remember anything!"

"Yes, that's right, sorry. Tighnari will tell you himself. Let's all meet up today to play that game, this is my last day off."

"Okay but like- back to the topic before this. What do you mean I told you already?! I'm confused!"

"Oh yeah. I don't know, you kinda confessed to me and kissed me. I thought that was what you were going to say, so I told you you did this already to save you the embarrassment. But if it's something different then go ahead, i'm all ears."

said Alhaitham calmly, sipping his tea.

Kaveh, stood up, now with big tears in his eyes, not only his face but his whole body blushing full red:

"WHAT?? I ASKED YOU IF SOMETHING HAPPENED AND YOU SAID NO NOT REALLY!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN, I FUCKING CONFESSED TO YOU?!"

He jumped up from his chair, ready to run away and bury himself so that he'll never have to talk to or see Alhaitham ever again.

"Stop screaming! It hurts! And besides, you don't have to be so emotional about it, I feel the same."

"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING NOW?! IM EMOTIONaaall... You feel the same? Are you... are you sure? Wait, I have to process this."

Said Kaveh, now crying and wiping his tears with his sleeve away. He was crying because Alhaitham didn't tell him about the confession, keeping it all to himself and acting like it didn't matter to him. As if Kavehs confession was worthless, just dumb words a drunk man said and didn't mean.

"Hey- don't cry now.. Why are you crying?"

Alhaitham stood up, ready to be an emotional support, went up to him and hugged him. Kaveh let Alhaitham hug him, but didn't embrace him back, rather hit him. Alhaitham was already used to this and didn't let go, just accepted that he was being hit, already understanding why Kaveh was upset with him.

"Listen, I'm sorry. I just thought that you wanted to move away because you didn't like the feelings you had for me. I thought you wanted to move away and find yourself. I thought if you knew you confessed you would.. would be even more upset and not talk to me. That's why I didn't tell you..."

"It's okay. I don't want to move out. Is it okay if I just stay?"

Said Kaveh, not crying anymore but still with tears in his eyes. He also stopped hitting Alhaitham who was still hugging him.

"Uh- yeah. I don't want you to move out either."

"Hey, did I tell you that one popular three word sentence that day as well?"

"I love you? Do you mean that sentence?"

"Yea. Did I or did I not?"

"What do you want me to say? The truth or what you want to hear?"

"The t- what i want to hear."

"Then no you didn't."

responded Alhaitham while having a huge grin on his face, already knowing what Kaveh will say. Kaveh blushing, now also hugging Alhaitham back, said:

"I love you..."

"I love you too. - What are you going to do with your Apartment?"

"I- What? I didn't think about that yet.."

Alhaitham stopped hugging Kaveh, he grabbed his face and kissed him.

"Let's call Tighnari and Cyno to play that game."

Kaveh, with a surprised look on his face, who still didn't quite understand what just happened, replied with:

"Ah yeah sure!"

"I really want to see you in just your underwear. Maybe i'll even get to see you naked."

Said Alhaitham while going to the telephone to call the others. Kaveh on the other hand, blushing, didn't understand what he was saying, not knowing what the game was about, he ran up to him and gave him a kick in between his legs.

"Ugh.. What was that for?!"

"FOR YOU BEING A PERVERT YOU PERVERT!!!"

They ended the night with Kaveh & Tighnari in just their underwear, Cyno & Alhaitham in their pants and shirts.
