"so, what have you guys found?"

Terry looked back over at a pair of large doors that were completely locked as both Natalie and Pippa walked over to him, there was a small sign next to the doors simply saying "FLOOR 5 BELOW", implying the door would lead to either stairs or even an elevator to the next floor down, unfortunately, the door was locked via a keycard scanner, which was why the other two were looking for anything they could use to open the doors.

"not much really, just a bunch of folders, books, trash, and pretty much every other item in the world except for a card" Natalie said.

"darn it.. we'll never get out of here if we don't open those doors! keep searching!" Pippa said.

"that was kinda rude there, Pippa.." Natalie said.

"I wasn't trying to be rude, I'm just stressed out here because we can't find anything that can help us get out of here!" Pippa said angrily.

Natalie thought for a second, then had an idea.

"wait a minute..maybe someone else here has found a card already? how about we try to find the others?" Natalie said.

"your right..someone must have found a keycard by now considering how much we've all spreaded out here!" Terry responded.

"exactly! we should look around and see if anybody here has found anything!" Natalie said.

while both Natalie and Terry were talking, pippa suddenly felt her finger get poked by something sharp, when she looked, she saw she had a small paper cut caused by a small note within the piles of trash, she picked it up and saw there was writing on it.

"R.O.B: subject-BOTANY: general growth update log-4:"

"something has changed, something has definitely changed"

"these leafs here, they were meant to be tiny, about the size of rats even in their parasitic stages, but now..now they have gotten way bigger then they were intended to be"

"these creatures have now become only slightly shorter then an adult man, and yet they are still able to fly like normal despite their size, their wings have changed too, instead of being made up of feathers they are now made up of stretched over skin like bats, but minus the elongated fingers"

"we had only used the genetic material of small birds like finches along with a few species of lizard, and yet these things have become something different altogether"

"it's got me thinking something, though it sounds completely insane, their new wings, they are oddly built like how extinct pterosaur wings were like, with both stretched skin yet no elongated fingers to support them"

"somehow..maybe, we've accidentally awoken something ancient within these beasts genetic codes?"

pippa looked away from the note before walking over to Terry, quickly noticing Natalie had vanished.

"Terry! I found some weird note here and- wait, where's Natalie?" Pippa said.

"oh, Natalie has went away in order to try and find the others to see if any of them had already found a keycard, now what is this here?" Terry said as Pippa gave him the note to read through.

"weird..so is this implying that weird..eugh, leaf thing that attacked Leo was meant to be way smaller?" Terry said.

"I believe so" Pippa replied.
