CHAPTER 4: BABY LEWIS

I stared at my wristwatch and notice that time had gone by.  Thank goodness I didn't bump to you know who, the day had ended. I took out my phone and called Jake, it took  a couple of rings before he picked up.

I was so excited to meet the boys that I almost jump. I excitedly walked to the elevator i squeezed myself through the crowd. "Ooh, hello there," one of my colleague tried to initiate a conversation. "Hi," I responded nervously  (anyone will be when talking to a person of different sex).

"Am Victoria," she said while extending her hand for a handshake, " Lewis," I said while shaking her hand. "So your new here, I didn't see you at the cafeteria i realised no one gave you a tour but i promise tomorrow i will do the honours." She was friendly not like the others, it won't be wrong to be her friend.

"I can't wait for tomorrow..." I was interrupted by the soft beep. " Bye Vicky see you tomorrow," i said cheerful i saw her smile as i left ,"Bye Lulu," i heard her say. 'Lulu, that is funny but cute' i said in my mind. I walked out my workplace and booked a cab to Sweet pixie restaurant, Jake had texted telling me he will bring Tom along.

When i arrived at the restaurant i met two familiar faces. I quickly sat by their side, " Hey guys," I said , " Lewis my friend oh how i missed you," Tom said.

" Stop being dramatic you saw him this morning,"said Jake. "Yeah! But if i can remember clearly you were pampering him as if he  was a baby," Tom teased.

"If it is about Jake serving me today, grow up and for your own information am not a baby am a young adult," I responded earning a laughter from Jake, Tom was about to comment but Jake interrupted,

"Enough you two, order whatever you like but no alcohol that is especially point out to you Thomas,"

"Eew! don't call me that am Tom not Thomas," Tom said proudly i could only just laugh.
The waiter had brought the menu for us as i was busy checking the menu something caught my attention. It was my boss walking hand in hand with a lady not any lady but the famous model Diana Jones and they were laughing at something one said.

I can't explain what i felt but i wished to pounce on that bitch and pull her hair out and stuff it in her mouth to stop her from laughing.
They walked near our table and he seemed to notice me and he  smile grew wide and I only rolled my eyes. Yes, i did it i rolled my eyes SUE ME i don't care,he is my boss only at work but not out here.

" Hey,what is wrong little Lewi?" Jake asked a concerned look, " Nothing i just remembered something and it made me upset," I replied with a smile. Jake gently rubbed my back, i turned to see that my dear boss was watching Jake's little gesture with a frown in his face and am sure I could smell something burning. " Don't dwell in the past but focus on your present," Jake said and I silently nodded.

The waiter came back and took our orders, it took only a couple of minutes when our meals were brought. As i was busy eating some ketchup was glued on my mouth Jake noticed and took out his handkerchief and wiped me."Little Lewi be careful,"said Jake I just only smiled, on the other side I saw imaginary smoke coming from his ears. He stood up leaving his date and walked towards our table.

I pretended not to notice him, " Hey Lewis nice to meet you here ," he said with a fake smile written on his face, " Yes sir nice to meet you," Tom faked a cough " care to introduce us?"he said.

"My pleasure Tom, Jake this is my boss his name is..." I remembered that I never got to ask his name. "Augustine," he completed.The guys smiled  they invited him to join us, " Little Lewi some ketchup is spilled on your shirt," Jake informed me and i quickly stood up and excused myself.

I walked in the washroom and started to wipe off the ketchup stain with running water. As i was busy i heard someone walking in and locking the door from the inside. When i saw that the ketchup stain was washed out i tried to  walk away but i met Augustine face to face.

I swallowed hard," what do you want?"I asked but I could feel my voice breaking, " who is this Jake guy to you?" Seriously is that why he locked the door.

"And who is Diana to you?" I don't know where I got the courage to ask him that but I don't regret it. He smiled, "so you're jealous," he said while walking towards me and I walked back until my back hit the cold wall. "No am not," I responded.

"Lewis, I and Diana are not together," he said softly. I was embarrassed with myself  was i really jealous I just knew him for a day and  am already possessive of him? What did he so to me?I stared at the floor afraid to face him.

He cupped my face with both his hand and started caressing my cheeks with his thumb, "Diana is my younger sister so don't worry about her,"he said while still caressing my cheeks. Before I could say something I felt his lips on mine. The kiss was more passionate like he was trying to tell me how crazy he was about me.

His lips moved in sync with mine, I felt his hand encircling my waist and pulled me closer to him. He bit my lower lip and a moan escaped from my mouth. Before he could deepen the kiss I quickly pushed him off. "Shit!" I cussed myself realizing what i did.

I quickly unlocked the door and went to seat near my friends. As soon as I sat ,Augustine followed up but he chose to sit with his sister. I could see him smile in victory. " Took you long enough... Hey what happened to your lips?" Tom raised the question Jake too seemed to notice, 'shit! I hate you Augustine," I mumbled to myself.
