✴✴✴

So its been a week since my parents and I have made up. I've really been happy that we all gave ourselves a second chance. My mom, decided she wanted to work from home, part time on some of the days of the week, mostly Tuesdays and Thursdays. The rest of the weekdays she works in the companies office along with my dad.

They both have there weekends free.

I was pretty proud of them for doing that for Blake and I.

"-and then I said that we'd all love to volunteer," Cass smiled

I looked up at her and smiled nervously.

"You have no idea what I just said do you," she frowned.

"I'm sorry, what were you talking about?," I laughed and she shook her head laughing.

"My uncle, he's having this years carnival," she said playfully hitting me.

"Wait, did you say volunteer?!," I said half yelling, half asking.

"I couldn't say no, plus the guy that's going to be telling us our jobs is insanely hot," she smirked.

I couldn't help but laugh.

"Fine. Do we atleast get payed?," I asked letting out a sigh.

She looked up and smiled. "Of course, we get 200 dollars at the end of the night."

I guess that's fair.

"Ok, I'll do it," I smiled.

She squealed and tackled me to the ground hugging me.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you," she said hugging me tightly.

I laughed. "Ok ok, get off me."

She got up and helped me off the ground. "Well, I have to get home, its getting late, my brother should be waiting outside, so I'll text you the details about Saturday, love you."

Today was Wednesday, so I had 3 days to have breaks.

There was a knock on the door breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Come in," I called out as I cleaned up all my books and homework.

That's when Blake walked in.

"Hey, what's up?," I asked as I put my bag in my closet and then walked back towards my bed.

He just smiled. "Guess what?"

I studied his face for a few moments and I laughed.

"Did you get a raise in your paycheck," I joked.

He nodded. "But that isn't it."

"Well what happened?," I asked.

"Well did Cassandra tell you about the carnival?," he asked.

I slowly nodded. "Yeah, what does that have to do with you?,"

"I'll be getting payed a thousand bucks at the end of the night, I'll be showing you guys around, where you'll be working and stuff," he explained.

Wait?

So let me get this straight.

Blake is the guy Cassandra was saying was insanely hot?!

That's my brother.

Ew.

Just gross.

But, I kind of know that she's been crushing on Blake since what...middle school.

She's never told me but I just have that gut feeling.
