"Oh, come on Trin, mom and dad will never know," Blake said handing me another Christmas bulb.
I just hummed 'Best Song Ever' by 1D, since it was playing on my phone blasting through my earphones.
I mean let's just state the facts.
1D and 5SOS, are life.
(A/N) I mean come on people, they're hot, and their music gives girls the feels, best boybands in my book if I say so myself.
As Blake wrapped the lights around the tree, I checked my phone for any messages, but it was 2 from Cass and Caleb telling me they were on their way.
"Congrats on the new crush," I winked swiftly changing the subject.
His cheeks turned a light shade of pink before I laughed.
"My big bro is finally becoming a man," I joked and he gave me a pointed look.
"I really like her sis, I've always liked her, just didn't think I'd ever have a chance ya know?"
I turned around and wrapped an arm around my brother's shoulders.
"Big bro, Cass has always liked you, before she even told me, I just had a gut feeling, plus how could she not like you, you're an amazing guy and as your sister, any girl would be lucky to have you," I smiled plucking my earphone from my ear and starting up the stereo.
'Treasure' by Bruno Mars began playing and I laughed at Blake's poor attempt to perform like Bruno did in the video.
I began thinking about the old times before it was really Blake and I.
Blake was truly more than my brother, but my best friend.
He was one of the people I turned to whenever I had a problem, or anything serious going on.
Then I heard a knock at the door before heading toward it to greet whoever it was.
I opened it to see Cass and Caleb standing there, with breakfast from Original Pantry. They had the best pancakes known to man.
I hugged Cass as she walked in to probably go find Blake, and I turned back to Caleb pulling him in for a kiss.
"How's the decorating going," he said pulling away to go put the breakfast on the table.
I waltzed backed into the living room where Blake and Cass were sitting on the brown leather love seat, eating chicken and waffles.
It was Blake's favorite breakfast dish.
That was really sweet of her.
"So, you want to throw a party, but Trin isn't sure about it?" Cass asked.
I rolled my eyes before taking a sip of my Iced-Tea. "I promised mom and dad we wouldn't throw one, and I don't plan on breaking that trust."
Caleb passed me a wrapped breakfast sandwich, which was bacon and eggs on French toast, which was my absolute favorite.
I looked at Caleb smiling, him actually remembering my favorite breakfast food, as I leaned over and kissed his cheek.
"Well maybe not a huge party bro, why not Cass and Trinity's friends, and ours, its not like we're inviting the whole school," Caleb suggested.
"You mean like a small get-together?" Blake asked.
Caleb nodded, as he took a bite of his cream cheese bagel.
"Well I guess that'll do," I muttered.
"Great, we can have it here," Blake winked as he gathered his and Cass's trash.
