"What's going on?" I asked. "Your son stole clothes from my store yesterday." said Jenny upset. "Is it true Billy?" I asked. "He used his daughter to steal." she said. "Why'd you do that?" I asked. "There's none of your damn business." said Billy. "Don't talk to your mother like that." replied Helen sternly.
"What kind of father are you? You teach your daughter that it's okay to steal." said Jenny and Billy glared at her. "That's not all of it. Billy also beat up a boy at school. He tried to choke him." replied a police. "What's wrong with you?" I asked. "Leave me alone." said Billy coldly. "Are you high?" asked Elliot. "Maybe I am." he said. Tears filled my eyes.
"If you can't take care of your daughter, the child services will take her." replied Helen. "You stay the hell away from Hayley. I won't let you take her from me." said Billy. "You're not in good shape." replied Helen. "You know nothing about me." he said and walked out.

Me and Elliot came to Billy's house and an uneasy feeling filled my body. I walked in and looked around. A glass of milkshake and a plate with bread stood on the table. We found Hayley in her bedroom. She played with her Barbie dolls.
"Grandma, grandpa." she said happily. "Hello honey." I replied and hugged her. "Sweetie, is your dad at home?" asked Elliot. "Yes, but he's busy. He told me to stay in my room and listen to music." said Hayley. "Why?" I asked. "It only happens when he brings men home." she said.
"Does these men hurt him?" asked Elliot. "I heard dad screaming once and it was terrible." said Hayley. I hugged her. "I'm here, it's okay." I replied. "I don't want to lose him." she sobbed. "You won't sweetie." I said.
We went out and the door to Billy's room opened. He came out with a man. He saw me and I gave him a disappointed look.
