Chapter 3

Henry's pov

Walter starts to wake,he rustling around in the bed beside me rubbing his eyes from the sun that's hitting them through a gap in his curtains.

He's been asleep for around three hours.I mostly just sat here on my phone or watched him sleep.

"What time is it?" he asked as he sat up a bit stretching "like five" I replied after checking my phone to see the time.

"Your mum came in like half an hour ago saying she was gonna put on dinner and it will be ready in like an hour"I say watching him get up out of bed and walk over to the bathroom that's connected to his room.

He comes back out a minute later. "There's no real point in us doing much if dinners are gonna be ready soon, but we can lie about the house till then and if you want later we can go into town for a walk or something just to get out of the house?"he asked while pulling the t-shirt he was wearing over his head and tossing it into the wash basket.

He then makes his way to the set of drawers in his wardrobe and pulling out another t shirt that looks quite similar to the one he just took of.

"Ye sure I don't really mind what we do" I say while getting up out of bed. I grab my bag from the corner of his room and walk to the bathroom to go get changed.

When I come back out he's sitting at his desk now fully dressed, playing with a pen that he's spinning about on his fingers. I don't know how he does it. He's always doing that in class. I tried copying him one day but just ended up sending my pencil flying across the room.

He stands up from his desk "wanna go and sit in the living room,there might be a movie to watch on the tv" he asked already making his way towards the door "ye sure" I reply following out the door and down the stairs till we end up at the living room door.

It's already open and I can hear the tv playing from inside.Walter walks in first "hi" he says quickly and then sits down on the two seater that's up against the window.

I follow in after him now seeing who he was talking to. It's his younger sister lilly,she's about 14 or so I think, and she looks quite like Walter.

"Can we watch the tv? '' Walter asks her while picking up the remote that's beside the tv. "Ye go for it" she replies not really caring, she's on her phone and by the aggressive tapping and the slight smile across her face I'm guessing she's texting someone.

"Who are you texting?" I tease "none of you business, that's who" she replies sounding kinda defensive about it. "a cute boy?" I ask, trying to get her more pisssed of. Despite the fact that I'm always pissing her off, we actually get on quite well. During the school year I would spend some weekends here with Walter and every time I make it my mission to pisss her off just a bit more than the last time. Although I'm pretty sure she thinks it's quite funny and half the time she's the one annoying me and Walter.

"No if you must know it's actually my girlfriend" she says smirking over at us "geez Walter that's quite sad your little sister got a girlfriend before you"  I tease but I don't know why because even just the thought of Walter having a girlfriend makes me feel kinda jealous.

"Ha..haa Henry you're sooooo funny" he says sarcastically while throwing the tv remote he's been holding at me.

"Pick something," he says pointing to the tv.

So I do, we end up watching one of the Harry Potter movies because even though Lilly said she didn't care what we watched, as soon as she seen one of the Harry Potter movies playing she decided that's what we were gonna watch.

Walter's dad comes in about ten minutes later to tell us that dinner is ready. We all get up and go sit at the table.

We're all eating and talking. Walter's family are really nice and always make you feel welcome to stay.

I'm so happy I'm staying for summer.
