chapter 1

today was the first day of my last year of school. I was really excited to finally get to move to L.A, because my mom agreed to let me move there after I finised school my best friend Matt was conincidentally moving there with his brothers, Chris and Nick. I have been best friends with them all since my first day of middle school, but I was closer with Matt because I was friends with him first I didn't talk to his brothers untill we were friends for a month the he wanted me to meet them. a honk outside pulled me out of my thoughts. it was Matt, I grabbed my bag and water bottle and went down stairs 

 " where are you going" my mom asked 

A " I'm going to school"

Mom " with who" she asked knowing it was Matt but she wanted to tease me because she thinks I like him, when in reality I don't he's my best friend we cant like each other

right?

A " mom who has been driving me since 9th grade?"

Mom " Matt of course just wanted to mess with you now go don't want you to be late"

A " alright love you bye"

Mom" bye bean"

I walked out of the door of my house and Matt was standing there he looked different like hot, no, nope not supposed to feel like that were best friends and thats all we will ever be

he pulled me into a hug 

M " I missed you  Mia"

Amelia was my real name but Matt and only Matt called me that it made me feel special. he always did 

A " missed you to even though we saw each other a month ago"

M " a month is two long"

A " ok,ok lets go before where late"

M " ok"

he got back in the car and I sat in the back with Nick 

N "heyyy how ya been"

A " pretty good I missed hanging out with you guys though"

C " yeah same, all us misssed you"

M " its only been a month guys chill"

N " its been a month for you we haven't seen Amelia in 3 months and also Matt she ment hanging out as a group"

M" ok sorry my bad"

C " damn right"

A " what?" 

everyone busted out laughing but chris

A " Chris since when were you apart of the nick Matt argument?" I was still laughing

C " I don't even know man I just felt like it ok"

everyone talked for awhile and when we got to school Matt parked in the front and we told each other our classes wanting to see if we had any together 

A " ok my first hour is math, then my second is chours like always, 3rd is English, then my fourth is history eww, then I have first lunch and my last class is PE"

M " ok so the classes we have together are math and PE so we have our first and last classes together oh and I have the same lunch"

as I go to talk to Chris and Nick they were gone probably going to look for ther other friends 

A " well I guess they left us " I said laughing a little bit 

M " we can walk around because we got here a little bit early" 

A " I guess so"

we were walking around for about 30 minute then the 5 minute bell rang 

M " you ready to go do some math"

A " no do you even know me at all" I said jokingly 

M " how dare you yes I do know you, you hate math and history plus the lound lunch room so thast why we have sat outside since 6th grade"

A " ok you do know me"

M " like the back of my hand" 

A " ok buddy, lets go to class"

we got to class and I didn't see any of my friends I didn't really have many because I have social anxiety and its hard for me to make friend and talk to people this is why in greatful that I have Matt, Nick, Chris, Madi my little sister, and alahna my girl best friend but she was out of town for the first week of school. 

Matt sat next to me and the class started the rest of the day went bye pretty fast. when it was time for lunch Matt was already outside my class and he brought me food , Chris and Nick brought there own so it was really nice of him to bring me stuff 

we sat down on the grass and he got out the food it was my favorite and chicken quesadilla along with my favorite drink a code red he was so sweet 

A " awe Matt you really didn't have to do this it's literally only the first day of school"

M " mia your just gonna have to get used to it"

A " ok well are you come over after school?"

M " want Chris and Nick to come too?"

A " they should come over this weekend I just kinda wanted to hang out with you"

M " ok yeah sounds good to me"

the lunch bell rang I didn't really want to leave I still wanted  to stay with Matt and keep talking but I couldn't tell him that because that would be weird 

M " I wish we didn't have to leave"

I didn't know what to say because I was just about to say that and he was looking at me with these eyes and he was giving me butterflies I didn't know why this was happening it has never happened to me before 

M " why are you staring?"

A " I am?"

M " yes you were"

A " ok sorry , my bad "

M " you don't have to be sorry" he said with this smile it was contagious and made me blush I got up because we were 10 minutes late to our last hour of school.

A " were late and and go" I said blushing

M " mia are you blushing?"

A " shut up lets go" 

M " oh my God you are"

A " I'm leaving" 

M " fine but we should just skip theres literally like 30 minutes left of class so we can go to my house instead of yours because my mom wanted you over for dinner and I want you there to"

A " awe that's nice"

M " but she wont be home for another 2 hours" 

A " I just remembered where are Nick and Chris gonna get a ride from?"

M " they have friends some other guys can drive them home"

A " ok fair"

we walked to the car and got in and started the drive to his house
