chapter 4

      Matt grabbed my hand and pulled me out of his bed, we walked down stairs and the smell of chicken Alfredo hit my nose 

A " it smells really good"

M " yeah my mom always cooks the best"

we sat at the table and mary-lou came over and handed me a plate of food, then winked at me 

A " Matt your mom just winked at me"

M " that's probably because she saw us kiss and then I talked about it to her the whole time we were cooking"

A " yeah that's probably why then"

M " she told me that she was waiting for this since we became friends and that and I quote " the mother in her new that I liked you and new that you liked me"

A " damn she guesses right"

M " pretty funny right"

A " yeah"

mary-lou " so Amelia how have you been its been a while since we've had dinner with you"

A " I've been really good and we defanitly need to do this alot more maybe have dinner at my house next time"

mary-lou" yeah sounds good"

A " alright I'll tell my mom"

mary-lou" Matt told me that you have a singing gig this weekend"

everyone turned and looked at me waiting for me to conferm of deny

A " uh yeah I do"

C " OMG finally"

N " yeah, wait do you want us to go?"

A " yeah of course I want all of you there"

everyone congratulated me and gave me hugs, everyone was having there own conversations and eating. after I was done it was time for me to leave

A " hey Matt you wanna drive me home"

M " you could  stay here if you wanted?"

A " yeah that does sound better"

a smile crossed his face 

A " but let me text my mom"

M " ok" 

I got up and washed my dish and put it away, after that I went upstairs to Matt's room and I called my mom instead of texting her, the phone rang twice before she picked up 

Mom " hey bean you headed home?"

A "actually that's what I was calling you about, I wanted to stay over?"

Mom" something happened between you and Matt"

A " what how did you --"

Mom " just do I can tell"

A " ok I have no idea how you knew but your right and also I don't really want to leave bc Matt dosent wanna drive"

Mom " ok that's fine just please where protection"

A " OMG MOM NO"

Mom " just saying"

A " that's not happening"

Mom" ok"

A " bye mom" I said shocked and laughing"

Mom" bye bean" 

I hung up and laughed to myself about what my mom said, Matt walked in

M " so did she say you could--"

A " yes it wasn't even really a question more of me telling her"

M " that's funny"

A " oh yeah she told me to where protection so I was laughing"

M " oh my God"  he said as shocked just as I was 

A " yeah" 

M " she does not need to worry about that"

A " I'm saying"

M " well anyways wanna watch a movie?"

A " yeah but I cant really get comfortable because I don't have sleep clothes"

M " yeah jeans and a tight shirt does not sound comfortable to sleep in" 

A " its really not"

M " well you can just where some of my clothes "

A " oh ok"

Matt got up and picked out one of his hoodies and a pare of sweatpants

M " you can change in my bathroom"

A " thanks"

M " your oh so very welcome"

I grabbed the clothes out of his hands and went to his bathroom and changed, the pants were a little to big but it was fine I got my clothes off of the floor and walked out of the bathroom

M " he--"

he just looked at me 

A " what?"

M " umm you- you just look really good I'm my clothes"

A " broo is drooling right know"

M " I am?"

A " yeah buddy you are" 

M " your just so pretty"

A " shut up" I hid my face because I was blushing

M " don't do that"

he pulled my face closer to his making me blush harder

A " do w-what?"

M " hid your face your to cute for that"

A " ok" I said very quietly I was quite literally folding at this point

Matt's lips were inches away from mine, he didn't kiss me just looked at me and smiled 

A " what"

M " nothing just looking at your beautiful face"

A " stop"

M " never" he was quite while saying this 

he placed his lips on mine and pulled me onto his bed, he layed on top of me not unconecting our lips, his hand was hip and the other on my face he moved his hands around on my body then he stoped

M " sorry"

A " for what?"

M " I don't know was that to much?"

A " no I would have told you"

M " ok "

A " lets just go to sleep ok?'

M " ok"

he got of the top of me and played next to me he scooted me closer to him I layed my head on his chest listening to his heartbeat, it was really fast

A " your hearts beating really fast"

M " its because of you"

A " why?"

M " how could it not like everything about you makes my heart beat faster"

A " matt-"

M " its true it always has been"

A " thats sweet goodnight Matt"

M " goodnight mia"
