Chapter 8:Partners

"Hey Ana," I said.

She Replied

"Yes?"

"Where'd you get this red and black scythe"

Her eyes Dialed, it seemed she knew something about my scythe. She hesitated and responded softly.

"I just found it, that's all"

What is she already hiding here?

"Bullshit, you just arrived here. What are you hiding" I stated with a loud tone.

"N-Nothing!" she said as she tripped over a box leaving a cat-like outfit.

That's it!

She's the woman who saved me.

She seems very nervous, is it because she has to hide her identity like myself?

I quietly told her "You saved me..."

"What?" She responded.

"Please follow me, I would like to show you something"

We went back into my dorm where I went into my closet and fished out the bunny hoodie with the jacket.

"It's you," She said.

"I never got the chance to thank you for saving me," I told her.

"That kiss was quite enough" she spoke in a kinda flirtatious tone.

So this girl I so happened to be taking care of so happens to be the mist-using girl that saved me. That's crazy!

That would explain how she suddenly came into fruition out of nowhere.

"Wait right there," she told me.

She ran back to her dorm and back with my scythe in her hands "I think this belongs to you"

We kind of sat in silence after that, I didn't know what to say. She's amazing, she's a kind person and she can fight. That's kinda hot not gonna lie...

"Sooo..." she began "Who was that guy you were fighting, he definitely got away with that guy full of bullet holes"

I decided to explain to her the whole story. If she already has powers there's no use not telling her, she seems stable and trained.

"I see," She said "Hey listen if you need help going again I can come wi-"

"no" I responded.

"Why not?!" Ana demanded me.

"I can't let you get hurt by this, you have nothing to do with this"

She looked me in the eyes and smirked in a wonderous way.
"I've only met you for a day but I can tell you are an amazing person, that's why I kissed you. Where I am from I never really felt love, but when I met you I felt a certain way. You have a way to make fairytales a reality. So I'm staying by your side, no matter what"

I started to tear up, nobody had said something like that before to me... I never thought I would have left such a mark on someone before in my life. I knew something was off about her too.

I looked at her as we got closer to each other and then, we shared another kiss. This time it was much longer and less shocking obviously. It felt like a love story.

I stood there holding her hands as she looked at me with the sweetest smile on her face.

"Alright," I said "We will do it together"

We eventually drifted off into being asleep together. I never thought in my first year of college I would have someone who cared about me to this extent. It's a nice feeling.
