Jungkook swims fast upon seeing the entrance of their palace. He sees her mother patiently waiting for his return in the balcony with some guards around her
The queen opens her arms wide to welcome her dearest son.. tears roll down their eyes
"My son"
She pull back from the hug and look at him intently. Jungkook changed a lot since he stepped on land
"The world above did you wonderful" she cups his face with her hand, caressing his cheeks with her thumbs
"I have a lot to tell you Mom!"
He excitedly says but the queen is not in the balcony to wait for them. She's expecting a visitors from the kingdom of Arnav
Hoseok hugs his queen giving her kisses on the lips and the side of her head
"My queen.. I apologize for taking my time up above. Your son made me a deal before he agreed to be back here"
He explains but the queen doesn't mind. She knows Jungkook wouldn't agree just like that
"We can talk about it later dear.. what we have now is a situation"
They look which way the sounds of drums are coming. Seems like someone is coming at their gates
The queen turn to look at the entrance
"You just returned at the right moment my dear King"
She hold his hands standing beside him, Hoseok intertwined their fingers. Jungkook stands on the other side of his Mom. A row of soldiers marches on the way till they stop at the very end of a flight of stairs to the way of the entrance of the palace
Hoseok leads the way to greet the newly arrived royals
"What must be the reason for your sudden visit King Gibraltar?"
King Hoseok stand tall with his family, his eyes are observing, the King has someone that is coming down from a chariot pulled by four dolphins. He assumed it's his daughter
King Gibraltar offers his arms for a younger lady besides him and smiles at them. The mermaid looks amazed by their place, she giggles eyes looking everywhere till she look at the front and sees the handsome Prince
She blushes and look away but Jungkook didn't give her any attention. What he wants to know is who they are and what intentions they have
"Your Majesty King Hoseok, Queen Adriana, Prince Jungkook.. we came here to offer something you couldn't refuse"
He taps the hands of the young mermaid that is holding his arms with a pleasant smile that Jungkook wouldn't dare to trust
"if that's the case, we should discuss it inside.."
He turns and leads the way to the throne room
Jungkook take his seat that he doesn't usually used but it makes him smile seeing it newly decorated. He is sure that it's his Mom's idea. His head turns to look beside her. The queen is already looking at him, liking how he smiles just to see his throne
" You like it?"
She whispers to his side. Jungkook smiles and reach for her hands, giving him a light squeeze
" I love it mother"
"I honestly didn't expect that we will see the Prince here"
King Gibraltar starts. He remains standing far infront of the king's throne
"but now that he's here. It's makes us delighted"
"and what is it that involves my son?"
Hoseok looks intimidating while simply leaning on his seat. His hands on the arm rest
"let me introduce my daughter.. Princess Calypso, the one i want to offer to be his wife"
The mermaid giggles, glancing at the prince but couldn't take how he stares at her
