It was a week before Shoto and Ayame were summoned to the Todoroki estate, Shoto had no idea why they were-unlike Ayame who didn't seem at all concerned to meet his parents. Shoto was confused on why she wasn't so afraid of meeting his parents. He knew just how stern his father was and even told her so, she waved him off saying that she'd be just fine. He had his doubts, which disappeared once Rei had seen the two of them.

Shoto was confused the moment that his mother hugged Ayame. "Mother...just what's going on here?"

"You know how your father and I were rather late for our meetings?" Rei asked

"Yes? You two never said anything about why."

"That's because they were kidnapped-as was I. But unlike them I was able to get out of what I was in and get them out as well before killing fifteen men that had tried to kill me for what I had done." Ayame said seriously "Shoto you know that the Tada name is a dangerous one yes?"

"I'm aware, that's why I have Kei as my body guard and hacker....wait are you saying you know what they know too?" Shoto asked shocked

"I don't know what my big brother does, but I can fight and I have shed blood before. Even before saving your parents, it wasn't the first time I was kidnapped from a public place like that. Probably won't be the last either." She said with a shrug

Shoto was quiet for a moment as he tried to process what Ayame was telling him. "So...hold up Ayame...Are you saying this entire time you've known how to fight yet you refused to?"

"Unless it's nessa I refuse to lift a hand and get my hands dirty. Just like I know you've had my brother look up things about myself, I've done my own background check on you and your family. I knew what your parents looked like and well I know where my loyalty stands shoto." She said with a nod of her head

Shoto pulled her into his chest as he hugged her tightly. "Thank you....Thank you so much for keeping my parents safe. Had Kei, Haru and Daichi had to go in there that would have been ugly and I don't know if I would have ever been able to see you again." He spoke softly to her

"You're welcome, I know how important family is Shoto." She said with a smile as she hugged him back

Rei placed her hands together in front of her. "Your father and I have already accepted her as part of our family Shoto. So whenever you're ready to take the next step you're more than welcome to. There's no need for us to test her when she saved us like she had."

Shoto's eyes widened shocked "Really? It was that bad there?"

"Worse actually, your girlfriend is down playing it a lot." Enji said with a sigh "Rei and I were drugged before being placed where we were. Unlike your girlfriend, she used everything she had to get out of the binds and help us out too before going after the men in that warehouse we were in."

Ayame smiled at Enji. "Evening Mr. Todoroki sir."

"Evening Ayame, as of now I do see you as my daughter in law. You've more than proven yourself with what you had done that day. Had you not none of the three of us would be standing here today."

Ayame nodded her head. "I understand sir, but I'd rather be safe and not call you father until or whenever your son decides he wishes to propose and marries me."

"Fair enough. Come now dinner is done."

The four of them went into the sitting room where Ayame saw her brothers were all in the room sitting at different parts of the room eating their own dinner as there were two other people at the table. Ayame knew them to be his sister and brother both older than him. Once the four sat down Fuyumi smiled at Ayame. 

"So you're the girl our baby brother is with, it's so nice to finally meet you! I'm Fuyumi his elder sister."

"I'm aware of that, I know all of Shoto's family. Shoto made it rather clear that he isn't letting me go-so I wanted to see what he was making me have to deal with. And I have to say I have no complaints with this family so far. Your parents have been rather nice as have you been. Not to mention Shoto has been a gentlemen to me the entire time we've been together." Ayame said with a smile

Natsuo raised an eyebrow. "You background checked him...why?"

"Because he did the same to me by giving orders to my eldest brother Kei. I wanted to see just what wasn't he telling me, and what I found out...didn't scare me at all."

Natsuo looked at Shoto. "Dude the hell?"

"I merely wanted to be sure that she was going to be the right person to be in this family that's all."

Ayame chuckled a bit. "You don't know the half of me darling, you've never asked me about half of the things you should have about myself. But oh well...there's always other times for you to ask such questions."

Shoto raised an eyebrow at her but didn't say a thing to her as the lot of them ate.  Rei then spoke up. "So Ayame, when is your birthday? I want to be sure that from here on out we can celebrate it just like we do for everyone else."

Ayame blinked her eyes a few times as she was in thought "I...I actually don't remember when my birthday is...I haven't celebrated it in so long I don't even know how old I am."

"That isn't on you baby sis, Mrs. Todoroki Ayame's birthday is May seventh she'll be turning twenty five." Kei stated between bites of his food

"Oh so you're only a few months younger than shoto then! Well isn't that cute!?" Rei said with a smile

Ayame had no comment as she realized just how messed up her life truly was. How could she have forgotten the day she was born so easily? Shoto saw that she was in deep thought and placed a hand on her lap softly making her get out of her mind and look up to him quickly. She saw the concern in his eyes as she looked up at him.

"It's okay Ayame, it's not your fault that your aunts, uncles and grandparents treated you so badly. You never asked to be treated the way you had when you grew up. No doubt they didn't think it was important."

"P...probably." She said just above a whisper
