After the German conquered the British isles, the Royal Family fled the island to Canada while the government evacuated to Northern Ireland still under the control of the United Kingdom. It won't be long until they have to leave Ulster and join the Royal Family in Canada, but with the help of the Royal Navy, any German attempt on landing has been stopped. In Egypt and the Middle East, the British Army, helped by the Free French Force and the kingdom of Egypt, maintains control over the African colonies in the north. In the south, British Colonial Holdings is falling apart as rebellion and resistance sprung up amongst the dissatisfied African populace.
In Asia, the IJA has arrived at the Indian border and are ready to cross, but the Indian declaration of independence and the neutrality act place by the new government ended British presence in Asia as British forces evacuated from India. As Oceania is being cut off, Australia and New Zealand sign an armistice ending the war and cutting ties with the Royal Government in Canada. After the Irish occupation of Northern Ireland, the British government fully retreated from the continent and when to exile in Canada. In Africa, the British colonies began to declare independence, leaving British troops stranded in a hostile country. These troops would form insurgencies fighting their way north to Egyptian controlled Sudan, where they will be brought to Cairo and disbanded by the British Middle East High Command. Simultaneously, the British colonies in the Middle East all granted independence, creating chaos as the Arab world filled with flames due to years of British occupation. Palestine notably would turn to chaos as the Jewish community would form arm militias and fight a guerilla warfare against the Islamic Republic of Palestine.
With British presence gone from Africa, the German and Italian forces invade Libya - now without British troops - and re-establish Italian control over its former colony. In the east, German troops took a huge defeat at Stalingrad, losing 90.000 men and hundreds of thousands of equipment. After this, the war in the east dragged on as slowly but surely the Red Army beat the German even with their entire effort now turned to the east. Back in Asia, the battle of Midway and Guadacalnal was a catastrophic defeat for the Japanese to turn the tides of war to the American side. Eventually, the American would encircled the Japanese home island and blockade them with it's navy, ending the war by dropping two nukes in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but after the nuclear attack on Munich.
With the war in Asia finally ending, the Americans would combat the Kriegsmarine ships and U-Boats eventually winning the in the Atlantic and blockading Europe with the help of the Remnants of the Royal Navy Now faced with the threat of American landings in Britain and eventual landing in France, and with the third nuclear detonation in Aachen, the German High Command launched a coup and overthrow the NAZI government The new government sued for peace and promised to return to pre-war borders if the American and Soviet stopped their attacks. Angered by the Army betrayal, Heinrich Himmler and his cronies launch a failed coup and started a civil war with his SS Legions spreading widespread fear in Europe as the Whermacht, with American and limited Red Army assistance defeat the rebellion. Finally, after 9 years of conflict, the Second World War has ended.
The Allies now recognise the danger that if they punish the German, the severely allow the Germans to annexe the Polish corridor and connect Pomerania and Oßt Preussen. The Rhineland would once again be demilitarised and Germany must retreat from Austria, Germany would pay compensation to the Allies and other European countries and must dimobilised the army though they are allowed to keep their air force and navy, but, with clear limitation. The Soviet Union, being the only major European nation that continues to fight Germany after the fall of Britain, was compensated rather unfairly, at least, to their point of view. Poland was put under the Soviet sphere while Eastern Poland was annexed to the USSR and reincorporated to the Belarus and Ukrainian SSR. Romania under Soviet occupation turns communist after a rigged election, Bulgaria previously has had a communist revolution joins the Soviet and the Comintern. Hungary turned non - aligned. The Czechoslovak Republic was re-establish but losing Carphatia Ruthenia to the Soviet. Yugoslavia became a Federal Communist republic. Austrial turns non - aligned and becomes neutral in European politics. Germany went on a transitional period back to democracy, though the DKP (Deustches Kommist Partei) has been a thorn in the side of the government. In Italy, Benito Mussolini continues to rule Italy with an iron fist, though Italy is now in shambles, and it's only a matter of time before he gets deposed, either by the king or revolutionary groups. In Asia, the Chinese civil war continues on with the communist gaining the upper hand and scattering the Nationalist forces. Indonesia gained independence after a bloody war of independence with the Dutch. The Republic of Burma was establish though with a highly corrupt government. Thailand became a democratic constitutional monarchy. The Phillipines become independence as the United States of the Phillipines. France went on a costly war in Indochina against the communist in Vietnam. The Korea's were divided between the communist and the capitalist side. While Japan is jointly occupied by Britain, America, the Republic of China, France, and the Netherlands. Hitler's body is missing, and Allied investigations have led them to believe that Hitler still lives somewhere...
