New jealousy

Nayeon and Jeongyeon hadn't spoken to each other for five days now. The youngest was very upset but she almost expected it. She tried to write to her but Nayeon replied very coldly. And so she found herself on the bus, headed to Seoul, something she would never have done so as not to disturb people. She usually never knocked, she used to call her friend to open the door, but on that occasion she took all the courage she could. It was the lovely Mrs. Im who opened.

-Jeongyeon! How are you?

-Well, you?

-Everything okay. Come in. Nay's upstairs, I think she's doing her thesis.

Jeongyeon smiled at that woman and went upstairs, still unsure of what to say. She knocked and heard a noise, as if something had fallen to the floor. After about a minute the door was opened. Nayeon was wearing a long shirt that barely covered her butt.

-Jeongyeon?

Who knows, maybe she had interrupted Nayeon in a private moment. Well... She was willing to help. No, what was she thinking? She was there to be her friend, not to do other things.

-Hey... Haven't seen you in a while.

-Yes, I've been busy.

-Is that because it happened? I want to forget it too.- Insecurity had taken over.

-It's not your mother.- A male voice was heard.

A boy wearing only jeans came out of the closet. Nayeon turned to him, then to Jeongyeon.

-This is Minhyuk.

Jeongyeon was almost paralyzed. She smiled at the boy out of pure politeness.

-A friend of yours?- asked the boy.

-I think I interrupted something.- Jeongyeon said looking at her friend.

Of course, how stupid, Nayeon wasn't thinking about her.

-Well... Actually...- commented Minhyuk.

-You came from Busan for me, that can wait.

-No, it doesn't matter. We will talk later...

Nayeon huffed as Jeongyeon was now out of her sight.

-Then? Shall we continue?- the boy asked, hugging her from behind her.

-I don't feel like it.

-Were you together?

-What? No. We're just friends.

-So she likes you. At least her look says so.

-No, she was just sad because I ignored her to be with you.

-Well, I would prefer you to be mine but, if you like that one, tell me. I don't want to lose time.

-She's not "that one", she's my best... We are friends.

-Okay, then I'll go out the window. See you when you want to f*ck like a rabbit again.

Nayeon completely ignored the boy and took out her phone to call her friend, hoping that she wasn't already on the bus.

-Yes?

-Jeong, come back to my house.

-I'm almost at the stop.

-Come back.

-I don't want to argue with you but you ignored me, I felt bad about it.

-Come back and we'll talk about it.

-But Minhyuk...

-I kicked him out. You are more important to me.

-I am coming.
