Changbin:“excuse me!! Two plates of meat please”
He ordered the moment him and Felix sat down on the table, it was a restaurant Changbin always came with the Band but there was a little bit of change and brought Felix instead this time.
“AHHH CHANGBIN!! MY FAVORITE BOY!! I'm glad you dropped after so long and from that, I'll make you the best meat plates with extra free plates”
Changbin's eyes shined as what he heard from the old lady which made him shout very loudly “THANK YOU MA'AM”
the whole thing made Felix chuckle at his sunbea behavior, when he saw him for the first time in the entrance ceremony.
Changbin gives off that quite cold kid who all have in his mind is music and the band.
But turns out that he's a whole different person whose eyes shine upon seeing his favorite dish.
Felix:“you must love meat a lot hyun—”
He immediately shut up on how he called Changbin "hyung" intentionally but the other only smiled and brought his shop sticks and fed Felix a piece of meat who accepted it with a surprised face.
Changbin:“just feel relaxed around me, sunshine and call me hyung”
Felix munch on the meat hiding his mouth with his hands as he nodded his head with a shade of pink going across his cheeks making his freckles sparkle.
Felix:“thank you for inviting me for a meal, Hyung”
He said formally bowing his head to show respect to his elder since it was what his mom taught him before coming to Korea.
Changbin:“ohh my- I told you to feel relaxed and here you are being formal around me”
He complained about eating another piece of meat while wearing a sad expression for Felix to panic and try to make things right.
Felix:“I'm sorry...it's how I show my gratitude and I—”
Before he could complete,Changbin shoved meat into his mouth again, stopping him from saying more.
Changbin:“tell me about those freckles you have...How do you have them?”
He changed the topic from him to Felix, he found those beauty marks very beautiful and he's so curious about the story behind them.
Felix:“uhm I'm from Australia and while growing up I got hit by the sunlight which caused those freckles to get born”
He explained to Changbin to keep admiring the other while a smile never left his lips, Felix was adorable in his eyes.
Changbin:“they are beautiful”
That took both of them off guard but they were too busy looking at each other's eyes to even react to what he just said.
His sharp sleepy eyes looking right directly at his cute doe eyes not getting bored of this sight in front of them.
“HERE YOU GENTLEMEN!! Your third plate”
The old lady came putting the new plate on the table interrupting their intense eye contact.
She lifts the empty plates and before she goes she states "enjoy" looking back & forth knowing very well what just happened between the two teenagers.
Changbin coughs holding his chopsticks again and starts cooking the meat on the stove while Felix was finding what to say so they could get out from the awkward moment.
Felix:“so...tell me about drums...since when you're playing them??”
He said eating the meat Changbin just cooked for him and turned to look at him again but he wasn't looking back at him because the older's eyes were focused on the meat that he was cooking.
Changbin:“it has been a few years, I played the drums for the first time in primary school at a festival and since that day and it has been my way to escape reality”
He finished cooking the meat the moment he finished telling his side story, it was his turn to ask but not a weird question that can put them on an awkward moment.
Changbin:“how about you? Do you like soccer?”
He asked sniffing the awkwardness away, turning his gaze toward the meat again while Felix also avoided looking at the other.
Felix:“because it's something easy for me since I've been doing it for a long time...so yes! I like soccer”
He said with a smile, feeling like he's trying to convince himself rather than being proud of it.
His gesture wasn't that much appealing to Changbin which caused him to ask the next question.
Changbin:“but do you think it represents you just because you like it?”
Felix's smile dropped and looked at him with confused eyes.
Felix:“what do you mean?”
Changbin sighed when Felix looked confused and he didn't interfere in his life.
Felix is free to do whatever he likes.
Changbin:“nothing, let's eat the rest...I'll pay the bill and you can treat us to something else next time”
A blush crept around his cheeks as he heard what Changbin just said and caused to look at him with wide eyes.
Felix:“next time? You want to keep doing this with me?”
It felt weird since both are new to each other and it seems that Changbin liked his company.
And honestly, it made Felix get so happy.
Changbin:“yeah, why not? I declare myself officially your new eating friend or partner”
Felix smiled, getting more excited that he made another friend other than Jeongin.
Felix:“sure *chuckle* I enjoy watching you eat as well, you look so happy while doing that”
What he said made Changbin smirk.
Changbin:“well, it's my favorite thing to do besides drums”
