Days had passed since the incident and Chan was getting lost in his thoughts more and more.

On the bright side, without Jeongin being around he would actually meet up with the band and work on the song because The freshman really provoked Jisung to behave out of topic while Changbin avoided coming when he knew that Jeongin and Jisung would be in the same room.

But their recent met up without the younger, Changbin asked about why the younger was avoiding to come to the rehearsal but Chan didn't want to answer that since he does not want to spill Jeongin's secret to his friend.

The same secret Chan finds adorable on him to have such a habit but he can be positive all the time since it is the same secret that brought them apart.

Jisung:“I'm sorry to say this hyung but you are not you throughout this song making...you space out a lot and keep checking the door for Jeongin's arrival... it annoying”

Chan sighed at what his band mate said, Jisung had left his guitar aside where he had given up long ago when the lead guitarist started acting just like he said.

The older was missing the freshman and he knows it.

Changbin:“maybe try talking to him”

He wanted to try but the younger words were hunting his brain and not letting him act upon his words.

Jisung:“he's right and you both don't worry about me...his presence doesn't bother me anymore”

What he had confessed made the other two look at him with a shock not expecting him to ever admit liking Jeongin around him.

Changbin:“for real?! Since when did that happen”

Jisung lowered his head remembering the encounter he made with the school president when he comforts him by words and coffee and he couldn't but be grateful to that person for pushing him to make this decision.

Jisung:“since I decided to move on from this big idiot”

He confessed again for Chan to feel guilty since he was the one responsible for Jisung's heart break... He had to take consequences of his actions.

Chan:“I'm sorry sun—”

Jisung:“don't call me by that!! I'm not your sungie anymore”

He lashed out getting irritated by the way Chan easily called him by that when it was a nickname only his lover was able to use on him...the lover Jisung is still searching for.

While Chan had a deja vu from the time where Minho flickered his forehead and told him “I'm not your kitten”

It kinda scared him to even imagine those two being a couple and have all the access to annoy him since he acted the bad jerk behavior on both of them

Changbin:“you deserve that for being such horny a**”

The drummer just made fun of him while Chan hates this and all he wanted was to be with Jeongin.

Chan:“give me a break”

Jeongin was walking with Felix towards their class that was about to start and to others, he's silent unlike usually and the soccer player didn't want to say something that could make his state worse but then his eyes got wide when he saw someone familiar coming their way.

Felix:“Chan-sunbae?”

That brought jeongin's head up and look at where his friend is looking just to meet up with Chan who was sitting only two feet away from him.

He got even closer and held Jeongin by his wrists then looked at him in the eyes to say “we need to talk” and that is how he was dragged away from his friend to who knows where.

It was the other side of the staircase that nobody uses by now since its second period and no one would be seen in the hallway or they will get sent to detention.

Jeongin:“I thought it was obvious when I said we—”

Chan:“i missed you”

The younger boy looks up meeting his hyung's generous eyes and couldn't but feel hot around his cheeks since he was never looked at by that expression before.

Jeongin:“I missed you too but I can't be with you while you know about my disgust—”

Chan:“it's not disgusting...it's adorable”

Jeongin was interrupted again for what his hyung claims about his little hobby being far away from disgusting, and it also surprised him to know that he finds it adorable instead.

Jeongin:“you find that adorable?”

With a blush that crept around his cheeks, he asked the older who was fighting his inner self to not kiss Jeongin right be hell, he was looking so adorable to resist.

Chan:“anything about you is adorable Jeongin, and I can't let such a ridiculous excuse stand in my way of being with you”

He stepped forward not done with his confession about their short time being of each other so he reached the younger's hand to hold them and rubbed his both thumbs against Jeongin's knuckles.

Chan:“you don't know how much I was craving your presence...these past days without you being like a living hell”

The freshman watched how Chan was making eye contact with him to seem genuine and honest about everything.

The presence of Jeongin in Chan's day could send him to the cloud nine since all the older was wanting to spend his time with was him.

And he cannot deny that anytime sooner.

Jeongin:“it was hard for me as well because I missed you too, channie-hyung”

He snatched his hands out from Chan's hold just to put his arms on his shoulders and wrapped them around it after putting his head on the crook of his neck leaning more into his embrace.

As a reflex, Chan put his hand on Jeongin sides not wanting to touch further hating the idea of him feeling uncomfortable under his touch so he held his hands for himself.
