"What song do you want me to play?" He asked and started the engine.

"Any song that was sung by Frank Ocean," I answered as I tried to distract myself.

This is not the first time that I rode his car. I've been here before with Kuya Kade, lalo na pag gusto naming pumunta sa bar. And every time I'm here, I can smell his perfume and it's making me.. feel things I can't explain. Ang bango-bango niya.

I was shocked when he played my favorite song. "Thinkin' Bout You" is my most favorite song by Frank Ocean.

"You.. picked a great song." I complimented him. He smirked and shook his head.

"Yeah.. nag-away kayo ni Kade because he wanted to play something, right?" He chuckled making me laugh softly too.

"Yeah... Naalala mo?" I asked the obvious. I mean, I don't know how to answer that! Ang awkward ng atmosphere! "And I always win."

"Paborito ka ng lahat, Mel." He mumbled. My eyebrows arched and I giggled.

"Hindi mo nga ako paborito, Ky." I tried to laugh it off but it was obvious that I'm upset about it! Fuck this mouth, really.

He laughed and shook his head. I looked at him and I caught him looking at me too.

"Eyes on the road, Ky. Baka mabunggo tayo!" Kunwaring galit na sabi ko. Tumawa siya at nag-iwas ng tingin.

"Red light pa," sabi niya at ngumiti. Nag-iwas ako ng tingin dahil feeling ko namumula ako ngayon.

"Ky?"

"Hmm?" He answered.

"Why.." why do you have to lead me on kung wala ka naman palang feelings para sa akin?  "Ah, nothing!"

"You can ask anything, Mel. I feel like you do have some questions for me," he said and drove again because it's finally greenlight.

"Kayo ba ni Emi?" Mahinang tanong ko at tumingin sa kaniya.

"Hindi ko siya type," sagot niya habang seryosong nagda-drive. "Ganun ba inisip mo when you stopped talking to me?"

"No," I casually answered. He gave me a sweet smile. The smile that I fell for.

I wasn't hurt because they were in a relationship rather I was hurt because my step-cousin who I trusted so much.. betrayed me. Si Emelia nalang ang mayroon ako that time.

"Are you in a relationship right now?" He asked and I shook my head.

"My last relationship was with Lucian, he fucked up and made me traumatized so..." I rolled my eyes.

"Luciano Perez or Luciano Montessori?" He asked, trying to confrim something.

"Perez! Ayoko kay Montessori, 'no!" I laughed making him laugh too.

"He really adores you!" He chuckled softly.

"Eh, I wanted you to be the one to adore me!" I covered my mouth in shock when I realized what I've said! I looked away and the ride went silent after that.
