I could visibly see him flex his jaw and it looked as if it might pop. But I could care less no one disrespects my staff I don't give a fuck about who you are.
Just as I was going to pick and give him another piece of my mind he speaks. " listen to me carefully miss Aneessa i am a very busy man and if you think I made my way here to be taught a lesson on manners then your wrong." He hissed. It's like I could taste the venom coming off his tongue
"mr morales you will apologise or you can leave my company I will not tolerate disrespect toward my staff." I spit. If he thinks he can intimidate me then he has another thing coming. It's like he was thinking about his next words carefully because what he said took me by surprise.
" my apologies"
he said in a low tone that nearly shook my core. " no problem sir" Lilly said. "Okay Lilly you can go now thank you" and she was out like a light. " thank you for understanding" I said in a softer voice. "Okay how can I help you mr morales?"
" I'm here so make a proposal and I will not take no for an answer" he said with something I could not decipher behind his tone. " okay well what is it then" I replied intrigued.
" I would like u to marry me , and before you refuse it will be a fake marriage that will last 4 months and when we divorce I will pay you any amount you want. this won't affect your job or private life."
He said like this was a normal thing to ask someone. I'm sure he could see the shock on my face but he was not done.
" there is a contract that we will sign that will explain in detail. I would say more but due to your lateness I don't have time to spare." He continued.
" and if I we're to disagree what would you do?" I said worry pooling my mind but I hide it the best I can. " that is something you will have to find out." He said with a menacing smile plastered across his handsome features , a face I'm apparently going to be seeing a lot more of these days.
"But let me warn u miss Aneessa no one refuses me and I would advice you to not go down that road, it won't end well for you.
" He said this using a whole different demeanour than I have previously seen and I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared right now but I won't let him see that.
Now this is gonna sound weird but I don't want to take the chance that he could possibly do something to my loved ones they are all I have left in this world. And the deal doesn't sound too bad I mean I get paid to pretend to be someone's wife for 4 months matters could be worse.
" okay I will do this but we are not going to be having and sort of sexual intercorse right?" I said probably sounding like a mad woman.
" no, and I'm happy you could agree and this didn't have to get ugly. And how much do you want?" " 3billion" I said. well I might as well take as much as I could get. "No problem, a meeting will be scheduled tomorrow for us to sign the contract goodbye miss Aneessa." And he got up and left. it's only after my door closed I realised what I just did. Oh shit what have I gotten myself into.

The rest of the day went by in a flash, I finished all the meetings I had pushed back, and now I'm on my way home.

I start thinking of all the information I forgot to ask like why he needed me to do this job and what was in it for him, countless other things as well. But I decided that those questions could wait until tmr. A call came in from Maria my best friend.
" hola bestie how was work" she said in her normal cheerful voice. "Stressful, and your not gonna believe what happened to me."
I replied. "Omggggg this sound like tea that needs to happen with a bottle of wineeee!" She continued. " I'm on my way see ya soon kisses" "kisses" I replied happy that I would be engulfed by her warm presence soon.
Maria is like a sister to me. She doesn't live far from me either about half an hour away she has her own house so we alternate. we have been friends since high school and she was there when I needed her like when my dad died.
That was a time of my life we're I really needed a sister not a friend and that's what she did she stayed and listened to me rant and cry and soothed all my breakdowns and panick attacks and she helped me build the person I am today I will always love and cherish our friendship.
