Chapter 9

Aneessa

I finished eating, washed my plate and headed back up to my room. I decided I would start the email I needed to send to Lilly so she could take on my meetings.

I had a little Bluetooth speaker and so I connected my phone and got started.

I looked on my phone and the time read 12:42 and I had just finished the email and sent it to Lilly. Getting up of my bed I headed for the living room to watch my fav show 'good girls'.

On the way I saw a man I didn't recognise as one of the security guard due to his outfit most of the security was dressed in black suits, he was in the kitchen and was taking to Ila. he looked similar In some way and young around his early twenties with dark black hair and a strong built like Dane but Dane's build as a little better. He also had green eyes that matched the ones on Dane. That's when I realised Dane mentioned he had a brother that must be him, they look a lot alike.

Just as I was about to continue on my journey to the living room he addresses me. " well hello to you too." He says in a playful tone his voice was deep but nowhere near his brothers.

" hello you seemed occupied so" I replied turning around to face him, he got up off on of the stools placed behind the island in the kitchen and made is way over to me.

" so your the girl my brother chose to be is little fake wife, well I must say he's got good taste."

He continues. "And you must be the brother I've heard of once, I guess you ain't that important."

I said with a little added sass to my voice. "I like you your funny, my name is kade I'm Dane's younger and only sibling." He said with an amused tone.

He seemed to have a very different personality opposed to his brother, he was more talkative and charismatic which I liked but I could see In his eyes there was a darker side to him that could be lethal to anyone who comes across it.

"I'm Aneessa nice to meet you, and I like you to you seem nicer than your brother." I replied, honestly. "Yh my brother can be a real party pooper but you know I deal."
" okay nice meeting you I'm gonna go now bye." I replied. " okay catch you on the uppity side." He finalised.

And with a giggle I made my way to the living room.

I was in the middle an episode and stuffing face with ice cream that I found in the freezer when a call from Maria came in.

"Girl your not gonna believe what happened."

She said in a sad voice. "Omg tell me and why do you sound like that what happened is everything okay." I replied in a worried voice.

Maria is an extremely strong person and rarely lets things get to her, but that means her breakdowns are equally as bad when a person hold things in and puts on a strong front, they eventually break and sometimes it's dangerous especially to their mental health.

"Me and Luka broke up, because he cheated on me with one of his colleagues." She says trying to hide the little crack in her voice.

Maria and her boyfriend Luka has been together for about a year and I honestly didn't mind him I mean I though she could do better but in the end it's her choice and I respect it no matter what.

"Girl I'm so sorry, that cocksucker I hope you beat his ass he doesn't deserve you and you can do so much better always remember I love you so really what do u need him for." I said trying to comfort her.

"Yh he's not worth my time, I really wanna go out and blow it off are you free."

She continued sounding more like herself. "Yh I'm free, what time you wanna go oh and can u come pick me I'm at Dane's house you know because of they whole marriage thing ill send you my live location."

"Umm be ready for 9pm and Yh I'll come get you, I love you bye see you soon." She replied. "I love you too." And with that the call ended. I looked at my phone to see the time was 7;27, I have just enough time to get ready.

I finished styling my hair and just finished my makeup, I went for a red lipstick with brown lip liner that compliments my dark complexion and no eyeshadow due to my lash extensions.

I had picked out an outfit earlier, it was a tight short black dress that had mesh sleeves with thumb holes and a bra shaped neckline with a string that rapped around my neck.

Her outfit:

I checked the time and it's now 8:40 so I got dressed and added a few touch ups like my signature Rose perfume and Gucci mini hand bag along with my lace up black heels. If you haven't noticed I love black.

Just as I finished up a call from Dane came in.

" i am on my way home is there anything you need."

He started. I was surprised he stopped to think if I needed something. "No not really,oh actually scratch that some ice cream would be great." I said remembering there was only one tub and I finished it. "Okay bye toreso." He said.

And before he could end the call I asked. "Oh by the way what does that mean." I know it sound stupid but I wanted to know. "Darling." He deadpanned and with that the line went dead.

Wow I thought it meant idiot or something but to my surprise he's not as bad as I thought he was. Pulling me back to reality I got a text from Maria telling me she's outside, so I made my way to the main entrance.

When I got into the car me and Maria hugged. " omg girl are you okay, and you looks amazing by the way." I started

Maria was also wearing a short black dress that was backless and sleeveless that connected around her neck, pared with a YSL hand bag and black heels with a silver diamond bands.

Maria's outfit:

"Thanks, yet again we seemed to have gone for the same damn thing, oh and wtf the drive here was long as fuck."

She said in her usual charismatic voice.

"Yh I know thanks for coming to get me though, I have so much to tell you

in case you were wondering there won't be a wedding or anything for Aneessa and Dane because (and my fault I didn't mention this) the contact was the marriage certificate so they are married on paper. 💋
