Bernadetta entered a strange room with Mitsuru. It was filled to the brim with strange technology that she didn't recognize. A table with a lot of buttons and letters, and a glowing green rectangle with a lot of lines. Mitsuru must have noticed her staring at it, because she let out a small chuckle. "I assume the technology interests you?" she asked. Bernadetta flinched when Mitsuru noticed her staring.

"Ah! S-Sorry, it was probably rude to do that!" she apologized, confusing Mitsuru. The redhead tilted her head at the apology. Why was she apologizing? She didn't do anything wrong, at least in her own view. It was normal to stare at equipment like this.

"Why are you apologizing? There's nothing wrong with admiring it." she stated. Bernadetta looked at her, surprised. Why wasn't she angry? Why was she so nice? It was wrong, right?

"Really?" she asked. Mitsuru nodded. She guided her to some couches with pillows, they looked comfortable. There were also seats next to the couchesas well. The purple haired girl hesitated, but she sat down on it. Mitsuru sat in front of her, a leg crossed over the other. Bernadetta visibly tensed up, she remembered how her father would sit in front of her like that. However, she pushed that away.

"For starters, I am Kirijo Mitsuru." she introduced herself "I am a third year at Gekkoukan Academy, in Japan." Bernadetta raised a brow. Mitsuru was her name, right? Why did she introduce herself like that? Was Kirijo her last name? It sounded foreign. Was she not from Fodlan?

"Japan? What's that?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. Mitsuru's eyes widened at that, staring at the girl in pure disbelief.

"What do you mean what is Japan? How do you not know what it is?" she questioned, placing a hand on her chin while frowning "Could it be that you are suffering from amnesia?" she asked. Bernadetta shook her head.

"No. I-I remember all of my life." the purple haired girl said "I'm from House Varley in the Adrestian Empire, and I'm a student at the Officer's Academy of Garreg Mach Monastery." she counted. 'Even though I'd rather not remember some parts...' she thought, frowning. Mitsuru hummed, frowning.

"Well, this seems to be a predicament, as there is no 'Adrestian Empire' that exists as of right now." she informed. Bernadetta held in a breath, her face morphing into one of confusion and fear. What did she mean by that? Did Adrestia not exist anymore? But how?!

"W-Wait, what's the date?" the noble asked.

"It is currently June 7th, 2009." Mitsuru answered. Bernadetta sputtered at that, shocked. This had to be a joke. This had to be an actual joke, right?! There was no way that was the date! Did she and Sylvain travel almost a millenium into the future?! But how?! There was no way that could be real! Right?! Right?!

Mitsuru noticed the panic in her face, something that confused her. Bernadetta couldn't blame her. How can she tell her that she was from a millenium back?! "Are you alright?" she asked. Bernadetta looked at her for a second, hesitating. There was a lump in her throat. It was like she simply couldn't speak. So, she simply nodded.

"I'm okay... I think I'm okay..." she whispered. Mitsuru nodded.

"Right. Let's move on. What can you tell me about you?" the redhead asked. Bernadetta took a deep breath. She didn't seem like an enemy, so maybe she could tell her some stuff without the whole time travelling shenanigans...

"I'm Von Varley Bernadetta, a 17 year old student of Garreg Mach Monastery's Officer's Academy." Bernadetta told her, recounting her memories. Memories she was sure that they were real. She kept telling Mitsuru things about her, things that wouldn't make her suspicious, while Mitsuru only nodded, a hand on her chin and a leg crossed over the other as she listened to the girl intensely, a look of curiosity and confusion glued to her face. She was interested, Bernadetta could tell. Once she finished, Mitsuru was pensive.
