As Elena's first final arrived, she had talked with the teachers and arranged so she had it after school so she wouldn't miss anything. It was December, Christmas was arriving in a week or two, after she had her practical the week before.

Elena would have finals for four days during that week, four hours each day, meaning two hours for each exam per day. She had two exams per day in the subjects.

Her week went slowly, when she finished the first day, she went home, ate and studied. She told herself she wouldn't be speaking to anybody, and take care of herself, sleep regularly, eat healthy and exercise effectively.

Since she came back home at around 8 PM every day and went to sleep at 10 PM and woke up at 7 AM to head to school at 8 AM. She barely had time to do anything. Katsuki knew she didn't want to be disturbed, so he stayed in his room for the most time, unless he went on hero work or trained with Hitoshi, Kirishima or Izuku.

The second day went by, and as Elena stood in the kitchen, taking out her dinner from the fridge someone hugged her from behind. "Hi Katsu. Let me just eat my chicken sallad real quick." She told him, unbothered by him. He sighed and let go. "I miss you." He smiled, kissing the back of her head.

"Yeah, but it's been like a day, if even...we see each other at school, no?" She asked as she prepared her chicken sallad. "I guess, but I always miss y-" He began, making Elena sigh. "Don't you think it's nice...not being glued together for a day or so? I find it...soothing. Just recollecting your thoughts?" She smiled at him as she held her dinner in hand.

"Yeah..I guess. I just like hanging out with you." He smiled very faintly. "Awh, I love hanging out with you too, my love." She smiled and kissed his lips before walking off. "You're eating in your room again?" He almost groaned.

"Yeah, I need to look through my notes as I eat, then I'm going out on a run, taking a shower and heading to bed." She told him with a clueless smile. "Tell me when you eat up and I'll head on a run with you!" Katsuki said, suddenly energetic. "My love, I need to take this run alone. We hung out plenty the day before yesterday. I take my runs to recollect my thoughts and sort out the notes in my head..." She winced at his excitement.

"Oh..okay. I guess I'll see you tomorrow then?" He asked, making Elena nod and give him a blow kiss. "I love you!" She smiled and walked towards the elevators.

As the elevator doors closed, Hitoshi hung onto Katsuki's shoulders. "Awh, is puppy not with his mommy all the time?" He teased, only for Katsuki to shove him off his shoulder. "Dude, a little advice as you two's best friend. Let her be for a few days. Elena seems to be coping with everything. She needs to sort everything out in her head. I don't think she has had time to understand everything that has happened to her for the past years because she hasn't had room to think for herself." Hitoshi told him, patting his shoulder.

"That's why I'm giving her some space. If she wants to speak to me and can, she will. And she does, whenever she has the time we hang out. But let her be for a few days. You guys sleep together and do practically everything together. You're hopefully gonna spend the future together. You'll have all the time in the world." Hitoshi encouraged him and opened the fridge to grab a Pepsi.

"So you're saying I'm suffocating her?" Katsuki asks, making Hitoshi wince. "I wouldn't say that. First of all, everyone attacks her the moment she enters the room. It might be overwhelming, seeing as she grew up with nobody on her side but me. Second of all, I'd say a lot of people suffocate her. Even though you mean her all well, and she adores your company, I think you both need to be alone to sort things out sometimes. It's healthy. If you always depend on each other it won't be healthy in the long run." Hitoshi told him, easing Katsuki's anxiety a bit.
