ADA'S MANSION
Elena opens her eyes turning on her side seeing Ada sleeping beside her, her arm wrapped around her waist. Elena caresses her chin with her finger with a loving look
Ada: Why are you staring at me?
Elena: I'm gazing. It's romantic
Ada: No it's creepy. This would be more if---
She looks under the covers and smirks
Ada: Oh never mind, we're already naked.
She gets out of bed, grabbing a large t shirt and slides it down her body, walking across the room
Ada: How'd you sleep?
Elena: Good. I'm not ready to let this go
Ada smiles walking back to the bed and sits down beside her, Elena laces their hands together.
Ada: I could invoke the sire bond
Elena: Then do it. It won't change my feelings for you. It won't stop me from being in love with you, Ada. What do you want to do?
Ada: I want to keep you in bed all day.
Elena: So let's do it
They lean in to kiss each other when Elena's phone goes off
Elena: I have to meet Bonnie. She's teaching Jeremy how not to kill me.
Ada: Go, sweetheart. I'll be here waiting for you when you get home
Elena smiles, leaning in kissing her softly on the lips
Elena: I love you
Ada: I love you too, darling.
MIKAELSON MANSION
Stefan: Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves, you know.
Klaus: What is the point of my hybrids being sired to me if I can't maximize on the benefits of free labour? What are you doing here?
Stefan walks down the stairs and into the room.
Stefan: Elena is sired to Ada
Klaus: Interesting
Yes interesting indeed
They look over seeing Ada calmly walking inside the parlor
Ada: And Stefan wants to shove the cure down Elena's throat so she'll go back to loving him again
Stefan: She doesn't deserve to live like that!
Ada: You're just jealous she doesn't want you anymore and we all know Niklaus wants her human again so he can make more of his puny hybrids.
Klaus(smirks): I always come back, Ada. You can't beat me.
Ada: I'll kill your hybrids and you can't make any more.
Klaus flashes towards her grabbing her shirt throwing her across the room. Ada leaps up to her feet and raises her hand making him grab his head screaming in pain.
Stefan rushes over punching her in the face making her stumble backward
Stefan: STOP!!
Ada: Wrong choice, Ripper.
She kicks him hard in the chest sending him flying across the room hitting the wall with a thud. Klaus groans as Ada plunges her hand into his chest and rips out his heart
Ada: Grow that back, wanker. We're nowhere done.
She glares down to Stefan who looks up at her
Ada: And I'm nowhere near done with you, Ripper. Go near Elena and I won't think twice. I will kill you.
She grips his chin in her hand glaring down at him in anger
Ada: SHE'S MINE!!!
She twists his head snapping his neck violently and leaves the mansion.
SALVATORE HOUSE
Stefan is sitting on a couch in the library, reading through some old papers. His phone goes off and he answers it.
Stefan: Hey, sorry, I know I'm late.
Caroline is on the other end, walking across the town square through the Winter Wonderland.
Caroline: If I'm gonna be a friend in your time of need, then you to need to work on your punctuality. I'm in a crisis. Where are you?
Stefan: I'm at my house. Why? What's wrong?
Caroline: My boyfriend is a dumbass martyr. Wait, and why are you at your house? Aren't you trying to keep your distance from Elena?
Stefan: Well, she's not here anymore. Damon took Jeremy to the Gilbert lake house with Bonnie so I guess her house is safe for her again. Hey, listen, I got Klaus to tell me a little bit more about this Hunter's sword. You know that map in Jeremy's tattoo? The sword decodes it. It's literally the key to finding the cure. But Ada isn't gonna let us find it
Caroline: Stefan, what are you planning?
Stefan: I need the cure for Elena.
Caroline: There's nothing you can do
Stefan: There's always something.
Caroline: There's isn't. She's a demi god and if you do anything with her, Loki will kill you
Stefan: I have to, Caroline.
Caroline: What are you going to do?
Stefan: I'm going to find a way and kill Ada.
ADA'S LAKE HOUSE
Elena looks out onto the deck where Ada is sitting on the railing. She smiles at her and waves him to come in. Ada smiles at her but looks away. Elena grabs the strand of mistletoe and walks out to her.
Elena: Of all the drama, you're missing the actual fun part.
Elena holds the mistletoe over her head and Ada looks up at it then smiles, grabbing her chin leaning in touching her lips to hers. Elena throws her arms around her neck slowly moving her lips against hers, tangling her hands in her hair.
Ada: It pleases me seeing you happy, darling.
Elena: You're one of the reasons I'm happy, Ada.
Ada: I always loved Christmas.
She reaches her hands up cupping her face, rubbing her thumbs over her cheeks. Elena gazes up at her with a loving look
Ada: I love you
Elena: I love you.
