Meeting

I decided on a pretty basic outfit. An oversized tee shirt, a pair of slightly sheer black tights, a pair of grey fuzzy boot socks, and combat boots. I braid my hair in two braids and grab my bag, putting my phone, wallet, and keys in it. I have little makeup on, just mascara, eyeliner, and lipstick. Which bases of mostly chapstick with a small amount of my favorite highly pigmented lipstick that matches my pinkish lip color when used lightly. I head down my stairs and lock up my house as I go out to my car. I get in and start my way to the recording studio Kevin owns. I walk into his meeting room and see him looking very serious on his laptop.

"Hey, Kevin!" I smile as Kevin turns away and smiles when he sees me.

"Hey, Luna!" Kevin smiles as he stands, and I hug him.

"Ok, let's get into crunching the numbers." Kevin says as I nod, and we sit at the table in front of his laptop.

We spent some time looking at my photos from the past two weeks, and we don't see as much engagement. Just like last time.

"Well, it's still not looking great." Kevin says, referring to the last time we checked as I hum.

"What are we going to do?" I ask as Kevin sighs.

"Well, I've been thinking about this since last time, but what if we do a PR relationship? I've already gotten in contact with someone about it, and they said they agree. We just have to send them an email, and it's done." Kevin says as he turns to me, and I sigh softly.

"I'm not sure, Kevin. Do I even know this guy?" I ask as Kevin rubs the back of his neck.

"I can't really tell you who it is until you agree." Kevin sighs heavily as I hum unsure.

"Yeah, I agree. Let's do it. What's the worst that can happen?" I ask as Kevin nods.

"There you go." Kevin smiles softly as he sets up his email.

We work together on the email, and Kevin reads it in full.

"Hello, It's Kevin Street. I'm sending this email in regards to the PR relationship with Luna Dis and Aristos Petrou. We would like to continue with the contract and have Luna meet Aristos when available." Kevin reads as I nod.

"Sounds good." I smile softly as Kevin nods and presses send.

We both take a breath and smile awkwardly at each other.

"It'll be fine, Luna. This guy is a good guy. Him and his cousin take really good care of the people they love and are close to. I know they do." Kevin says softly as he places a hand on mine and rubs his thumb over my hand.

"Thank you, Kevin. I know you would never put me in danger." I smile as I hold his hand, then I pull him in for a hug.

"Of course I wouldn't, Luna." Kevin smiles as we pull apart.

"Now, let's go get something to eat. It'll calm your nerves." Kevin's smiles as we both let out small chuckles.

I get ready to relax before bed, but as I'm turning the TV on, I get a message from Kevin.

Kevin💼: ok you're meeting Aristos on Monday at noon

Luna🫀: alrightyy
