"Oh, thank God that meeting is done...." Chan walked in taking her jacket and stuff off. She dropped them on the ground and walk into the entryway.
"Fini!!" Naytion raised her arms with a squeal and we walked in right after Chan, I shut the front door behind me. I put my niece down and helped her out of her jacket, Naytion laughed and started after Chan to the kitchen

Someone is still on their sugar high from school.....
I stood straight and slipped out of my snow boots, leaving everything in the mudroom by the front door too. It's well 6 in the evening and we left at 7 this morning......I stretched my back, this was the most boring and longest meeting yet, it took all fuckin day! All the department heads talked about hopeful projects for them....a couple department heads talked than most others and it was so much fuckin notes! I need to type up a specific one for Chan and a thorough memo with new guidelines, for the rest of the employees she manages in the African arts department.

"I'm glad that I even managed to stay awake...." I yawned, walking to the large kitchen table.
Me and the other assistants were writing and typing on auto pilot, stuck in the boring conversations. I took my laptop that was still on the table, powered it on and sat down. I looked over at Naytion watching Bubble Guppies with the large stuffed gorilla next to her on the sofa.
"Good thing we don't need to do anything until next month's meeting....." Chan came back in the kitchen and looked in the fridge. "That'll give you free time with Cree and for yourself....." She smiled, taking out snacks for Naytion.
