"Yes!!!" I got up and started dancing around in glee. "I got an interview, I got an interview.....!" I twerked in the empty apartment and almost fell when the door opened. "Hey, daddy....." I fixed my shirt and looked at him.
Daddy is everything to me and before mama passed a couple years ago, I promised that I will make sure daddy will always be ok. He will be, I got my daddy's back til the day I die.....and I see that daddy will still be married to the love of his life.

Now that's a love I always envied for, daddy didn't have the best jobs.....yet he always took care of us. Mom's family didn't like him for her, I dunno why.....cuz daddy is an amazing man. Mom's family put heavy pressure on her to marry better, someone they thought was a better option cuz he had money. Being the dutiful daughter that she was....she did what they wanted and married who they wanted. Her ex husband worked hard, had some typa money.....but ended up being an abusive, cheating son of a bitch that felt entitled to treat my mom the way he did.

Mommy used to tell me that it was the worst 2 years of her life being married to him. She did what my grandparents wanted and it backfired on her big time and they seemed not to give a fuck. So she ran from the motherfuckah, with her parents tryna force her back......falling in love with daddy and he gave her the world, while still trying to maintain. And after 27 years, they loved each other fiercely, could no one tell my dad and mom that they wouldn't last together cuz he's just another broke dude, doing the bare minimum.
That's what everybody else thinks....my parents showed different......
And I also put it to what social media is displaying nowadays, too. These new age women see money only and end up being emotionally or physically abused by these men with money. Or, they're showing their asses out damn near naked for everybody and they mama to see, they're all looking the same and act just as stupid.....cuz dudes with money like that. They look exactly what a guy think is perfect, cuz these women only know and care about what a man can financially provide for them, not caring how they end up being treated. They don't respect their self worth and let these men just beat and cheat on them.....have babies on them and they think it's ok!
