Meeting -003

Sunghoon woke up and shut off his alarm. Gaeul was already at his door begging to go outside. He rubbed his eyes and opened the door. She sprinted out and to the door so that Sunghoon would take her outside. Really it's only his balcony but there is a patch of grass that he keeps in good condition so he cleans up her poop if she went.

She did her business and hurried back inside to go nuts on her food bowl. Sunghoon couldn't blame her since he was almost just as hungry. He sighed anyway and went to his bathroom.

He washed his face and cleaned him self up a bit. He took a quick shower and dried his hair. Somehow with his luck, his hair actually decided to cooperate today.

He went and grabbed some nice clothes to wear. After situating his clothes out on his body he went to his kitchen. He isn't as crazy as Gaeul so he ate his food at a normal pace. Some toast and milk can never go wrong.

Once he grabbed Gaeuls walking harness she started running around as she was very excited.

"You sure are happy today." He laughed and crouched down to her. She sat like a good girl and once he had put it on she ran to the front door and waited for him.

"You wanna go see grandma and grandpa?" He said and she seemed to get even more excited as if she knew what he was saying.

He walked her to the garage area and had to tell her a couple times to quit barking since it echoed throughout the parking lot. Once he made it to his car he helped Gaeul into it and turned it on. As he was plugging in his phone he remembered what he has to do today.

It seemed to only then settle in that he's going on a date. A date. A date. A date. He hasn't been on a date in god knows how long.

He started up the car anyway and drove to his parents. He asked if he could come over yesterday night since apparently he told his friends that he was. Luckily they said yes. He doesn't come home often since college gets a lot of his attention so they are always more than happy to have him home.

When he arrived he let Gaeul run up to the front door before him. He waved to their neighbor who is a very nice old lady. He knocked on the door and his little sister answered it.

"Oppa!" She smiled and hugged Sunghoon before swooping Gaeul into her arms and going off to the living room.

Sunghoon entered the house and took off his shoes after he locked the door. (If anyone is wondering, I am imagining his mother as Mina from Twice and his younger sister as Wonyoung from IVE.)

"Hoon!" His mother called from the kitchen. She calls their names only if she wants them to come to her but she says their name and what she wants them to do if she wants them to do something.

"Hi ma." Sunghoon greeted her and was met with a hug.

"You're such a grown man aren't you? No relationships yet huh?" She asked as she set the table and loaded the plates with food. "Just to remind you, your father is at work today. He couldn't stay home for breakfast with you. They've got a game coming up." She explained and motioned for Wonyoung to join them at the table.

Sunghoons dad is the manager/coach of the Korean baseball team. So he has to be at almost every single practice when they have a game soon. Especially one as iconic as Japan VS Korea.

"No relationships and it's fine. The game is a big deal. Oh, I'll be at the game by the way. Jungwon got tickets." Sunghoon answered as he and his sister sat across from their mother who smiled at them.

"Speaking of Jungwon is he still with Jay?" His sister asked as she took a bite of her food.

"Yeah, Jay got pretty lucky with him." Sunghoon said and both his sister and mother seemed happy to see they are still together. "Also Heeseung, Jake, and Sunoo finally all acknowledged the tension between them." Sunghoon said and his mother and sister squealed.

"Are they dating?" His mother asked as her and his sister had the same look of happiness.

"Yep." He smiled at the two celebrating by high fiving.

They all kept gossiping/talking until it was time for him to leave. He was going to be leaving Gaeul with them until next Sunday.

"I can't believe you have a class on a Saturday." His mother shook her head as she hugged him so he could leave.

"Dad also has to work on a Saturday too." He tried putting it in comparison but it didn't seem to work.

"It's okay ma, I'll see you all on Sunday." Sunghoon waved as his mother and sister did too. Wonyoung raised Gaeuls paw to wave bye as well. It was adorable but he had to leave so he did.

Sunghoons class went by pretty fast. He got all his work done so he didn't have any homework. The time for his date was getting closer and closer every minute. He can't believe he's going to see that handsome guy in person.

Soon enough he was on his way to the TeaXTogether cafe. He's never felt so nervous in a long time. Not since his last international figure skating competition was he this nervous.

"Sunghoon! We haven't seen you in forever." Soobin was more than happy when Sunghoon entered the cafe. He'd gotten a messaged from Niki that he was already here.

"I know. It's been a while." Sunghoon bowed his head and smiled back at Soobin. He ordered his drink and patiently waited at the counter.

"Hey, how are you?"

It was him. It was Niki. In real life. Sunghoon could basically say he's even more handsome in real life than those pictures. And those pictures were really good.

"I'm good, how are you?" Sunghoon smiled at him as a way to keep his cool. Niki seemed to smile even brighter.

"Now that you're here I'm good." Niki said it so smoothly that it didn't seem like a calculated move. Not something he thought of to say before this.

"What did you order?" He asked as Soobin smiled and handed Sunghoon his drink.

"Iced Americano." Sunghoon smiled after he took a sip of the drink he missed.

"You're adorable." Niki said aloud as they sat at a one on one table.

Sunghoon blushed but took another sip anyway. "So you're Japanese?" Sunghoon asked and titled his head.

"Ding ding ding." Niki smiled but his eyes looked as if he would put Sunghoon in his pocket and run so that nobody would see him.

By the 'end' of their date they were super close. Niki took a drink of his vanilla latte and had a milk mustache that they both laughed at. They learned so much about each other. It felt so natural to be with one another.

"Would you like to spend the night at my place? Not that we have to do anything sexual. I just want to hang out with you more." Niki titled his head as his eyes adored Sunghoon.

"Sure." Sunghoon smiled and leaned closer. He didn't lean for any particular reason than other that it felt right.

Niki ended up also leaning in. They weren't saying anything. Their eyes were too lost in each others to care about saying something. Soon enough they both leaned closer. Niki's hand finding a spot under Sunghoons jaw as their lips connected.

Once they backed away they smiled at each other. For both of them this was fast but it felt way too right.
