Hello???? #8 in Fanfiction out of 1.5M??? Excuse me????

It had turned out that Gryffindor was playing against Hufflepuff instead of Slytherin.
Something about their Seeker still injured and couldn't play, Oliver muttered to the rest anxiously, no doubt revising Quidditch strategies against Hufflepuff.
On the day of the match, bad spirits weren't around because it wasn't Slytherin vs. Gryffindor but Hufflepuff. The badgers were always on good terms with the lions, so there was only friendly banter between the two houses.
"Wait here." Eliza said, leaving Percy's hand as soon as they entered the Great Hall on the day of the match.
"What're you—"
Eliza turned and walked towards the Hufflepuff table. Their team had already sat down for breakfast, a little nervous for the match.
"Hi," She said, approaching Cedric.
Cedric looked up and grinned. "What brings you here, senior?"
Eliza smiled back. "Wishing you luck, junior." She said. "Best of luck and break your broom."
Cedric nodded his head. "Thanks, say that to your team as well,"
"Oh, our team doesn't need luck, I can already see that we're going to win."
"Not if I catch the Snitch first."
"We'll see," She teased, going back to her own table, sitting beside Percy.
"What did you go talking to him for?" Percy questioned, pouting a little as he looked at Cedric with a frown.
"I was just wishing him luck." Eliza said calmly, starting on her eggs.
Percy didn't reply but stared at Cedric with a small frown through his glasses. Eliza had to stop herself from giggling at him, being jealous.
"Stop being jealous. He's younger than me." She said, nudging him.
"I'm not jealous." Percy lied, pushing up his glasses.
"Oh really? Then why are you looking at him like you want to lock him in the dungeon?" Eliza questioned.
"I don't want to lock him in the dungeon." He lied again, his cheeks flaring up.
"So you want to lock him elsewhere?"
Percy groaned at her teasing. "Stop it," He said softly.
"Stop what?"
"Stop teasing me,"
"Only if you admit it."
"Admit what?"
"That you're jealous."
"I'm not jealous!"
"I think I'll go tell Cedric that you want to lock him in the dungeon."
"I'm not jealous, Alexandera!"
"Fine, should I go sit there with him then?"
"Fine! I-I'm jealous!" Percy admitted, going very red in the face as he pouted.
Eliza chuckled. She really wanted to kiss him right now.
"You're so cute,"
"Hmph,"

"Here, we'll share an umbrella." Percy said, holding Eliza's hand and pulling her under his umbrella as it rained.
"Thanks." Eliza said warmly, smiling.
Claire turned her face grumpily towards James. "Why don't you have an umbrella!?" She asked, frowning.
James spluttered. "Well, how was I supposed to know it was going to rain?"
"It was raining all breakfast!" Claire argued back, folding her arms through the wet raincoat. She at least had a raincoat, James didn't even have that.
"I didn't come for breakfast!" James said back. "Where's your umbrella then!?"
"It flew away!"
James laughed at her, sticking his tongue out. "Pathetic excuse, Claire." He teased her. Obviously, Claire, being Claire she didn't understand that it was teasing but took it angrily.
"It's not an excuse – it actually flew away!" She said heatedly, her hair damp from the rain. She shuddered.
Many people engaged in conversations. The rain was so heavy that they couldn't even see the match, and Lee's commentary was also not audible through the winds.
"Give me your umbrella, Rehan." James said.
Rehan turned sharply. "What? Why should I?"
"What kind of wingman are you?" James questioned, looking at Claire from the corner of his eye.
Rehan snorted. "The kind that watches his friend suffer." He said back.
"It's cold." Claire whined.
"Yeah, it actually is." Eliza agreed.
"Come closer then." Percy said, slowly grinning as he saw Claire become more grumpy. He hugged Eliza from behind, giving a little more warmth.
"Cry about it." James teased.
Claire glared at him, turning her face away.
James laughed again. "Oh, c'mon Claire. I'm just as helpless as you, if not more!" He said, trying his best to be soothing.
Claire didn't reply. She simply looked away into the grey sky, pretending to understand the match.
James sighed, turning away when he grinned mischievously.
"Alrighht stay mad at me." He said, smirking.
Claire didn't reply. She simply huffed, fog emanating through her mouth.
"Your hair is in your face." He spoke again, gently moving closer and pushing Claire's blonde hair back her ear.
She swatted his hand away, turning to him angrily. She spoke, "Don't touch me—"
As she turned towards him, James took her face in his hands, moving forward and kissing her lips deeply and suddenly.
Claire widened her eyes as he kissed her. Registering what he had actually done, she pulled him closer by his wet shirt and kissed him back with equal force.
Eliza and Percy quickly looked away. She sent him a warning look to not interrupt them with his rules and stern Head-Boy behavior.
The rain came pouring down more than ever. But still, James held Claire closer, kissing her, making everyone around them turn away.
"Is that enough warmth for you?" He whispered, his voice hoarse.
Eliza tuned out their rest conversation. She turned back and grinned at Percy, who kept throwing them disapproving looks.
"I'm not stopping them for you. It's against the—"
Eliza put a finger to his lips, silencing him. Even through the bad whether, she could clearly make out his pink tint on his cheeks.
"Shh," Eliza coaxed. "Let them have their moment." She said as she grinned.
Percy was just about to reply back when a movement ahead stopped him. He quickly turned Eliza around, who gasped.
"Is that – is that Harry of his broom!?"
