$- Author's statement -$
Well, i didn't expect any of this really to say the least. Roughly two weeks up and "Soft Reboot already has around 700 reads. Insane, I have to say. Almost as insane as i am for even writing this after the abysmal failure that was my last serious fanfic. But of course i have to thank every last reader for enabling my insanity and creativity to flow further.
Secondly, despite a slight (and non direct, i just reread their fanfic and it popped up on one of their notice pages) warning from a fellow writer. I have decided to steam ahead and begin writing episode 2 "Freak Incident". Its probably going to take a while tho.
Also, don't worry, the episode "Heartbeat" will still exist in all its crawly horror as well and will still be similar to the source material (the actual episode) besides the the fact that it is now technically episode 3.
Anywho, i didn't just make this to pat myself on the back, i also come with news. (or patch notes as i call them)
$-PATCH NOTES-$
$- For Episode 1 "Pilot" -$
As of the date stated, various edits have been done on the fic. Do not worry as it is nothing major.
- N's attitude towards J has been fine tuned to be a little harsher.
- DD Rebecca's Oil thirst has been tuned down.
- Changed DD Rebecca's tail canister to be purple as to fit better with her colour pallette.
- Fixed formatting errors for screen displayed text (as in, text displayed on drone visors.) there is now a distinct difference of text style depending on who is "talking" on the visor.
- Doll's dialogue in the warehouse fight scene has been dialed back a tad, since after a reread i realized that she doesn't really speak that aggressively at all in the show. (she called J a "Corporate Whore" in the fight.)
- Spelling and grammer errors that i have found along the way have been dealt with. (I am not the smartest so i can vouch for myself that i missed some.)
$- Skit -$
It was a cold night out, N was sent out by his boss to look for V again. As usual, the lazy disassembly drone had somehow snuck off during one of the groups hunts. Leaving N to deal with his other team mate alone, said team mate now flew in fancy circles and spins around him as their waist tied jumper flapped rapidly in the wind. Her steel wingtips reflecting the last dying beams of moonlight as the two flew together
It was Rebecca, her blue eyes gauging N's reaction to her tricks as she attempted to cajole him out of the search.
"Nnnnnn? why do we even have to find her? its V's job to come back to us, not ours to bring her back with us. Right?"
"Uuh haha, No. Its our job to stick together Rebecca. so we have to go find her..."
N exclaimed back to her, Rebecca taking this chance to move a little closer to him. Obviously because she couldn't hear him that well over the virtually dead wind, not because she wanted to be closer to him at all.
