It was a beautiful August night. The stars were shining, there was a warm breeze, everything was perfect. Cassidy was sleeping in her boyfriend Liam's arms when she began to fidget. This immediately woke the young werewolf. "Cassie? You okay?" He whispered to the sleeping girl. He could smell the fear coming off of her. She was having a nightmare.
The small girl continued to twist and turn in Liam's arms. Then, she screamed and sat up quickly. Liam sat up with her. "Cassidy what was your nightmare about?" She continued to stare at the wall in front of them.
Then, she whispered so quietly that Liam had to use his werewolf abilities to hear her, "Something's coming."
Cassidy turned to face Liam then she buried her head into his chest crying. "I'm scared Li."
"What did you see in your dream Cassidy?" Liam asked the crying girl.
"I don't know Liam. But everything's gonna change again and I don't think we'll all survive this time." The poor girl sounded so broken.
And that's what she is ; the broken girl.
