"So did you find out yet?" Stiles asked the werecoyote who was sitting next to me in the back of the jeep. What's he talking about?

"They're going to email me." Malia replied quietly, obviously understanding what Stiles means.  Scott looked as if he knew what they were talking about too.

"About summer school?" Liam added into the conversation.

"What are you guys talking about?" I blurt out, frustrated because I'm apparently the only one who was left out of the "McCall Pack Gossip Circle" again.

They group just gives me a look before continuing their conversation. "You told him?" Malia asks the two older boys. She seems really mad.

Stiles opened his mouth, probably to give a great excuse when Liam cut him off, "Oh no. All they said was that you had to go to summer school because the principal said your test scores weren't good enough and you might have to repeat junior year."

"You guys told him that and not me, seriously?" I say. I don't understand why they always have to keep secrets from me.

Malia and I both let out frustrated sighs as Stiles began to stare daggers at Liam.

"We should've left him chained to the tree." Stiles deadpanned.

When we arrived at the hospital, Liam grabbed my hand and began to search for his dad while dragging me behind him. "Liam, he's probably in surgery or something. Just ask one of the nurses." I tell him.

"Let's just look for five more minutes, okay babe?" My stubborn boyfriend tries to reason.

"No. It's like eleven o'clock at night and I don't wanna run around the hospital. Just ask a nurse." I whine.

"Fine." Liam drags me over to the first nurse we see. "Do you know where Dr. Dunbar is? He's my dad."

"He's in surgery for a few more hours. Is there an emergency?" The nurse asks us.

"No, I'm fine. Just tell him I stopped by." Liam asks her.

"Alright. Have a nice night you two." The nurse says before she walks away.

"Now was that so hard babe?" I tease Liam. He rolls his eyes as we walk back to talk to Scott.

Since Liam isn't looking for his dad as we walk around the hospital this time, he tells me really bad jokes as we make our way back. "Knock, knock."

"Who's there?" I ask for about the eighth time.

"Boo." He replies. I can't believe he's using this joke.

"Boo Who?" I say while giving him an 'are you serious right now' look.

"Don't cry it's only a joke!" He tells me, fake laughing as he speaks.

"Well aren't you just hilarious?" I say sarcastically, he nods in return. Then we turn the corner to see Scott near the elevator.

"My dad's in the middle of surgery. They said he won't be out for hours." Liam explains to his alpha. "So I'm either stranded here or I could go with you guys."

"Well, Cassidy can stay with you instead of going home." Scott offers while pushing the down button on the elevator.

"What? No, I'm exhausted!" I refused.
I mean I love Liam and all but I'm not waiting another two hours to go home.

"You're staying." Scott told me before looking at Liam, "Show me your hands." Liam looked over both his shoulders before revealing his bleeding hands to Scott and I. He must of been using the pain to control the shift like Scott told him to.
