Chapter One: Intro
It's hard enough being the youngest in the family, but what's even worse is being the shadow of miss perfect. That's what my family calls my older sister Taylor.
Taylor is what you would call a Barbie doll. That's how i think of her anyways. Taylor and I are two completely different people. Taylor got the beauty and I got the brains. Sure I, Aria Fitzgerald, have gotten quite a few awards in my life span, but nothing compared to what Taylor has achieved.
Taylor has been crowned homecoming queen every year since she has been in high school. She's a senior now and for every dance that we've had here at Linfield High School, Taylor has won the highest title (queen) all four years.
All of her awards have to do with her popularity and her beauty, while all of my awards are given to me due to academics.
It may seem like being smart is better than being beautiful, but in high school, it's the complete opposite.
Now this is my story of how my life went from being nothing, to being the most amazing, surreal life I could ever imagine.
