Cale died after killing White Star.
Supposedly, he was NOT supposed to die and he COULD NOT die because he IS an immortal.
But he DIED. How? And why?
The answer was, he has a new (highly paid) mission in a other universe. A universe that has been accidentally given life to by Angel of Life.
Just like TCF universe that Cale had saved courtesy to Death's personal request (lots of kowtow), the new universe that was meant to self-destruct needs to be saved too. This time by the personal request (bribes of billions of goldbars) of Angel of Life.
