Chapter 9

DK's POV

I went back to the practice room to tell what happened to Haru. But I don't want to break our promise with Haru... Im in dilemma. I sighed as soon as I entered the room, and Dino noticed that.

"Hyung, what's wrong ?" He asked.

Some members like Joshua, Mingyu and Seungkwan were looked at me too. Should i just tell them about it ? I cant hide this to myself since I know the members adores Haru like their own sister...

" Haru is leaving us" I blurted out.

The atmosphere became frozen. The music stopped playing. All the eyes are on me, saying if it's just a joke or some sort of prank. But they know me too well, I would never telling jokes about something so important to the group.

" Where did you know this ??" Wonwoo asked me. I replied, " I saw her crying when we're in our break. So I asked her what happened, and she told me that she got fired for some unreasonable reason. I guess you guys know it..."

Everyone went silence. They can't believe of what just happened. Hoshi then asked " where is she now ...?". I told him that she was going to clear her stuffs on her desk. Hoshi was about to chase after Haru but our captain stopped him. Scoups said " I know your frustration... but we can't act like this. People might be think about something else when we tried to bring back Haru even though it wasn't like that. I think we should stay focused on our practice for tour and we can asked them to bring her back after everything is clear now. Do you understand. Hoshi ?"

Hoshi just nodded. Although I knew that this hyung will never just stay silent about this, but he is agreed with what our captain said. After some moments, we all get back to our practice.

HARU's POV

After I done cleared my stuff, I took them with me and went to the lobby. I returned my pass to the counter over there. With a heavy heart, I finally give it to them. I've never thought I would get fired so soon... all the memories I have with them, SEVENTEEN members are all precious. Maybe, it's time for me to stop. I hold back my tears and took my stuff, walked away from the building.

As I reached my tiny apartment, I let my body slammed into my bed. I don't know what to feel anymore. Not that I got fired, now I have to think of something else to gain money. Should I work at the convenience store again ? Or perhaps being a cleaner ?? Sigh,,, I don't know. Then, a notification popped up on my phone. I was too tired to reply so I just looked at my lockscreen. Some of them from the Seventeen members, and from Hyungwon.

What ? You got fired ?? Do you want me to come over ?

I glanced at it, pffft... what is this.. is he worried about me now ..? It's so rare of him... Although we lived far from each other, Hyunwon would never left me out, so do his family. Their family already treated me like my own, so I was grateful for it. But I want to be independent, so I moved out and work for myself.

I stuffed my head with my pillow. My mind is like a mess now... and Im really don't know what to do... When I was thinking about something else, someone ring my doorbell. But I don't have any upcoming package on the way... who is it now..?

I take a peek at the hole on the door, but it was unclear. So I opened the door and said, "I don't have any package on the way" . The guy in front of me said " It was from HyungWon" .. The voice sounds familiar.. when I looked up at him, it's him. Hyungwon's friends... Jeonghan and... Woozi ?

" Hello there Haru-nie ~! Your brother asked me to pick this up and gave it to you, but since we're at it.. how about a dinner too ?" Jeonghan casually said that as if it is okay for him to eat here. But where did he find my address ?? Maybe Hyungwon gives it to him. Jeonghan and Hyungwon are so close to each other to the point two fandom became one because of their interactions. Well, let's skip to that. But Woozi is here too ?

" Jeonghan dragged me with him..." Woozi said.

Ah... I can imagine that.

Then I let them in, despite having zero energy to eat dinner, but still... it feels nice to have someone to talk to over dinner. Hmm... I wonder, how long since it's been after having a dinner together with them like this.
