Chapter 13

Hoshi's POV

"Good job guys, have a good rest tonight" I said to Jun, Minghao and Dino after our practice ended. While we're all resting, I scrolled through my notifications just to see if my favorite account uploaded any new cover of song or updates. Sigh.. no updates again from her.

Dino went to me "Hyung, we all will go first" . I nodded and waved to them. After a while, I get up and left too. I looked at my phone and scrolled through my chats, and stopped when I saw my chat with Haru. It got me thinking about her now, how's she doing, is she okay.. Should I just call her ? I was thinking of calling her but is it okay ? But oh well, we're friends now so it's okay, right ?

I decided to just give her a call. It's ringing.. and for some reason I feel nervous.

*accept*

"Hello"

"Oh hello Haru.. I didn't expect you will answer me"

"Ehh why not ?"

"*chuckles* nothing.. so how are you doing ?"

"Im doing good, and you ?"

"As usual. Anyway, where are you ? At home ?"

"Ah.... Ahaha *awkward laughter* no.."

"Hm ? Then-"

"Hello hyung !"

"Huh? What.."

"It's me, Dokyeom. I'm with Haru now"

"Dokyeom ?! W-why are you with her ?"

"I saw her earlier and invited her for dinner now. Wanna join us too, hyung ? Haru, can I invite Hoshi too ? Oh Haru is okay, come at our usual place, hyung. See ya !"

*call ends*

What was that just now ??? I look at the call in disbelief and have so much to say. Why is Dokyeom with her ? He's eating dinner with Haru ?  What's happening ? Without wasting my time, I went to the place that Dokyeom said. Im not rushing- but kind of. I walked a bit faster, I don't know why but my legs reacted and I feel like I should go see Haru now.

Haru... why am I thinking about you now ?!

Haru's POV

After the call ended, I feel embarrassed and Dokyeom gives my phone back. He look at me with his smiling face and tease me "Oh ? You face are red now ! Don't tell me.. do you like-"  I shuts him. "No ! Im just- ahh it's a bit hot here, right ?" I tried to change the topic.

"But still, you can't just take my phone like that ..! You surprised me there.." I said and continue eating my dinner. Dokyeom just chuckled and continue eating too "Sorry Haru, it's just so fun to watch you this flustered. Gosh.. I missed teasing you more.. but  what a shame you're not working with us anymore..." 

After a few minutes, Hoshi came "Haru.. Dokyeom..". I looked up at him and saw him sweating a bit, and our gaze met. Did he just running here ..?

"Oh hyung ! You're here so fast. Sit here" Dokyeom clear a seat next to him for Hoshi to sit. Hoshi then placed an order after that and looked at Dokyeom with a gaze 'care-to-explain?'. Dokyeom burst into laughter when he saw Hoshi. "Wohh Hoshi-" and continue to laugh again.

"Um Hoshi... it was like this.." I decided to explain it to Hoshi.

*Flashback*

"Haru, how are you?" Dokyeom comes to me from his car. I was surprised when I saw Dokyeom again after our last interaction. He saw me crying and all, and I was so embarrassed. And after all, Dokyeom is my first bias in Seventeen before I worked with them. Up until now, I never get to tell Dokyeom that I'm im such a big fan of him. But maybe I will, someday, or sometimes.

"Oh hello Dokyeom ! Im good. And you ? Just finished your practice ?" I greeted him as usual. He nodded and we both started a small conversation.

"I missed you so much Haru-ya.. everyone too.. you're our youngest staff. Are you working again or looking for one ?" Dokyeom told me that with pouting and worried about me. "I'm still looking for one actually, but don't worry , I am doing well now. And I missed you guys too ! I saw Vernon and Joshua just now."

And suddenly, Dokyeom's face looks brighter as he had an idea on his head. "I know ! Haru-ya, let's have a dinner together" . "Dinner ? Together?" I looked confused and surprised. Is he for real now ? And- this is my first's dinner with any of them together. Wait- a dinner with my first bias ?!

"Wait wait- but can we though ? Your fans is everywhere" The thought of us being spotted by his fans is enough to terrify me and might make a huge rumors. "You don't have to worry about that, we're going to have dinner at a place where only our members go and the owner knows us well. Let's go, I've been wanting to talk to you more" He reassured me and insisted that I should have a dinner with him without any of his fans.

I reluctantly agreed and Dokyeom happily lead me to his car and we're going to that place together.

*End of Flashback*

"... and that's what happened" I explained everything and exhaled. Hoping that Hoshi won't get a wrong idea about me and Dokyeom. Hoshi listened to me so intently and trying to process it. While Dokyeom just enjoyed having his dinner.

"So you're at our building today ?" The first thing he asked me. I gulped "Yeah.. just have something to do with my previous work..". I still can't bring myself to tell them that I worked with Woozi, especially Hoshi. I don't know why but I just feel like I shouldn't, just not yet. Hoshi nodded and a hint of relief appeared on his face. He muttered something as he looked away but it's clear for me to hear.

"Just a coincidence... I relieved"

I stunned for a while and trying to figure out what was he meant by that. My gaze never left on Hoshi.

Then I was interrupted by Dokyeom telling me to eat more as he gives me more beef. I break the gaze on Hoshi and continue to eat. I saw that Hoshi also looked at me with a small smile on his face.

What was that supposed to mean Hoshi ??!!
