Two days after the announcement of Ken being the next possible candidate to join SEES, it was time for the trip to Yakushima. As the small ferry was reaching the island resort, Junpei was so excited to enjoy the beach and the sun as he glanced back at the others, as his smile died down seeing how silent the rest seemed while Masato was on his phone.
As the ferry landed, the group grabbed their things and entered the small beachside house, but once they entered it, the rest of the group were surprised by the size of the entire hallway, except for Mitsuru, as she led the group in.
Fuuka: Wow…
Junpei: It’s like we’re in an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Fabulous…
He mumbled in shock as two maids approached the group as they bowed to Mitsuru.
“Welcome back, Milady.”
“And you must be her schoolmates, correct? Welcome to the Kirijo vacation home. Please follow me.”
Yukari: Um, is this the right place?
Junpei: Dude, real-life maids…
Fuuka: I knew she was from an important family, but this definitely confirms it…
She said as the two maids led the group to their rooms, but they stopped when an adult male with a black eye patch over his left eye exited the room, before noticing the group and Mitsuru.
???: …
Mitsuru: It’s good to see you.
She said avoiding the look the man was giving her before he left the room in silence as Fuuka ended the silence.
Fuuka: Was that…?
Yukari: …her father?
Masato: He seemed very cold.
Junpei: Yeah, talk about scary! He’s not gonna make us walk the plank, is he?
Akihiko: Don’t be stupid…
Mitsuru: *chuckle* We won’t be here long, but make yourself at home.
Junpei: Sweet! This is gonna rock! Hey, wanna go to the beach? It’s right there. Dude, this place rules! Come on, let’s go!
Yukari: What, already? I mean, sure, but let me get changed first!
Junpei: Then, I’ll see ya there. I’m not gonna waste a single minute!
He shouted in excitement as he rushed to his assigned room to get changed into his swim trunks. And after a minute, Junpei, wearing orange swim trunks as he had his ball cap turned backwards and was holding a dark blue floatie. Makoto, Akihiko and Masato walked right behind him, as Makoto wore a dark blue swim trunks that had a design on the bottom that was black, Akihiko had a white shirt on, that was hiding his speedo and Masto was weaning a dark red swim trunks that had white lines that went halfway to his hips.
Junpei: Ahh… Got my sandals on… Given’ my feet a chance to breathe… Yup! Summer’s here!
Akihiko: Darn… There’s nothing out there I can use as a marker… Too bad. I was hoping for a good swim.
Masato: It’s too hot out… Is there any shade?
Junpei: You must be joking… We come all the way to the beach and you’re gonna train and hide in the shade?
Akihiko: What’s wrong with that? You got a better idea?
Masato: It’s not my fault I hate this kind of heat.
