"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ME FATHER!" Tristan hit the table, nearly knocking over Isa's plate.

Oh right, it's the night before Clarissa's mom gets cursed, she would try to prevent it but it's good for Tristan's character arc.

Being ten her brother dearest was now a teenager and therefore had that teenage rebellion, drinking some apple juice isa couldn't help but think about just how good it was. She should like give whoever made this a bunch of money or something.

More bantering happened until Tristan had enough and left the room, Elizabeth following closely after they were gone Meliodas turned to his daughter.

"So why weren't you at practice today?"

"Oh I didn't want to go," Clarissa responded truthfully. "There's no point in trying to train a power that a human is incapable of using, training elise and ember is more important to me anyways, I'm going to be weak any way so I might as well have powerful buddies"

"They're getting a bit big, aren't they?"

Isa looked at them, they were a bit bigger, there about seven now. Actually the size isa was when she was seven, their power is growing and Clarissa can feel it.

"Yeah, i think I'll take them outside today before bed and see what they can do, the other day ember breathed out fire and elise managed to create some ice"

Her father remained silent, she looked at him and noticed that he clearly wanted to say something.

"You know...it's very rare that someone is born into this world with elemental magic. Spirits don't count since there not really alive"

"What?" This is the first Clarissa has ever heard of this.

"This land, we all Britannia, is born from three things. Holy magic, unholy magic, and chaos. Elemental magic is extremely scarce and it is not inhabitable with any type of living being. The one exception is dragons, they are beings born from the elements' ' that is some lore that isa has not been taught in history lessons at all, it wasn't even in the anime nor manga.

"We do happen to have a couple dragons in britannia, though those ones are lesser breeds, they have the right to call themselves dragons but they are not made out of elemental magic..no one has seen the higher breeds in such a long time, long before the holy war started they suddenly vanished, no one knows why "

He looked at the twins again, "so when you found these two, no one could believe my surprise, they're filled to the brim with elemental magic"

Right now Clarissa felt like one of those childrens whose mother just told them the absolute most epic lore that happened before they were born.

She didn't really know how to respond to this and he looked like he still wanted to say something else but would so she just pulled the most classic thing a child can do.

"Okay dad" she had finished her dinner by now, so clarissa got up, like always elise and ember followed her.

Instead of going to her room, isa heads outside and towards a private area that people wouldn't follow her.

Looking around Clarissa saw no one, alright it's time for her to start this.

"Elise, Ember, you guys ready to do your thing?" isa asked in english. They both nodded as they were still unable to speak.

"Alright, three..two..'' Both Elise and Ember lifted their wings, ready to launch some magic.

"ONE!" Elise breathed out ice while Elise breath out fire, freezing and evaporating the lake that was right next to them.
