Friends? || Chigiri X Fem Reader

Today was your first day of high school, and your stomach was doing somersaults. (which was unusual for you as you were normally quite confident).  You cast your eyes all over the place, desperate to find someone, anyone,  who you knew. Your eyes finally landed on a certain confident looking, yellow eyed figure. 

"Kokoro!" You jumped on her back, wrapping your arms around her neck. She chucked before attempting (unsuccessfully) to pry you off her back.

"Y/n! So you got accepted here? " She questioned, still peeling your fingers off her shoulders. 

" No! I got accepted to a boarding school?" The sarcastic tone in your voice was clear in your tone, but her friend didn't seem to notice.

"Really? Oh my god, bestie, imma miss you!"

" You actually fell for that?" You deadpanned.

"..."

"Kokoro."

"No."

"Really? " A smile crawls onto your face.

"No."

"Pffff. Ha! You never change, do you?" You chuckled, swinging your arm over her shoulder.

"Hey! In my defence - " She was cut off by the bell ringing signalling the beginning of the school day. She sighed as she continued, " Well, see you at lunch?" 

"Yeah, sure."

You walk to first period, which just happens to be form. At least you didn't have to do too much work. You were pretty tired as you had to leave home at 8 in the FREAKING MORNING. You were seriously pissed about how you woke up at 6, and you couldn't go back to sleep.

You looked up and Iooked at the room number you had arrived at.

You sighed and opened the door to see one other person in there. You paid no notice to him. Wait ,no, her.  Him. Her. H-

That thought carried on until the teacher had begun class. So, no, you did not ignore them at all. And you had come to conclusion that - well, you hadn't come to any sort of conclusion at all. You paid attention to who answered what name in the register. 

"Chigiri Hyoma."

"Here."

You glanced over to see the person from before. From the name you had come to a conclusion (for real this time ) that he was a boy. 

"L/n Y/n."

"Here"

He turned and made eye contact with you, then smiled. His eyes glistened like rubies in the late summer's morning rays. You looked away, quickly hiding your flushed cheeks with your hands .

"So in class today i will put you in pairs and you must get to know them and maybe make new. friends.You must be able to tell the class about them at the end of the lesson. "

The teacher began to call out names for the pairs. You waited, fidgeting in your seat. Waiting for your name to be called. 

"L/n Y/n and-"

Oh please anyone but-

"Chigiri Hyoma "

Of course the gods had to betray you like that. 

"And that's all!" 

Great. No switching partners now. Everyone else seems pretty content. 

"Hey, uhh L/n right?" 

You turned to see non other than Chigiri Hyoma. 

But dang his voice is kinda hot- I mean uhh scratch that. Okay Y/n calm down. You can do this just play it cool.

"Yeah. Uh it's Chigiri right?" You say as nonchalantly as you could. 

"Right. To be honest your surname seems familiar. Do you perhaps know why?" Chigiri replies, curiosity evident in his words.

Well I'm getting to know him. And vise versa. So there's no harm in telling him right? 

Wait.

No. That won't do 

She'll find out.

"Oh it must be your imagination. "

Good just play it off like it was nothing and change the conversation.

"So, for the'project' we need to talk?" 

"Yeah I guess so..." Damn it Y/n that sounds weird.

You talk for a while and find that he enjoys football like Meguru. He is also going to the football club at the end of the day. After a while the bell goes off and the teacher says that the next form is at the end of the term and we have until then to get to know them.

"Here," You turned around to see Chigiri holding out a piece of paper.

"Huh?"

"Anyways gotta go bye!" He ran off without another word.

"WAIT did I just get a hot guy's number? "

...

"Nobody heard that."

Luckily for you the classroom was empty so you were saved from the rest of the year's worth of embarrassment.

Kayyy this is my first chapter and omg I'm proud. This is unedited and short and yeah. I'm bad a writing but it's okay...
