You sit on the bench near outside the convenience store, watching the sunset while thinking about why your brother came to you instead of going back home like usual.

You hear the store's door slide open automatically. You know it's your brother because there's no customer you see enter.

Saiki sits beside you and hands you your favorite ice cream that he bought for both.

You take it without ever looking his way. You tear the plastic open and scrunch the wrapper into your palm, holding it. You take a small bite of your ice cream. Tasting a sweet and cold substance in your mouth.

"Why do you want to walk together?? Aren't you afraid your friends- Eh uhh, them, find out about me?"

"It's fine, I can't keep hiding about having siblings anyway," Saiki tells you before biting his chocolate ice cream.

You let out a small hum before continue eating your ice cream before it began to melt.

The scene is serene as you and your brother take in the breathtaking view around you. There is a sense of calmness in the air, and the silence between you both only adds to the peaceful ambiance.

You can see for miles, and the beauty of nature is on full display. The sun is setting in the distance, casting a warm glow across the land, and the sky is painted in a kaleidoscope of colors. the world seems to slow down. It's one of those moments where words seem unnecessary and the silence is enough to convey your feelings.

It might seem awkward, but it is actually one of the love actions the siblings have done besides bullying each other.

There are moments like this where you both share a deep sense of love and affection for each other. It's a beautiful reminder that even amidst the chaos of life, there can be moments of stillness and love that make it all worthwhile.

Both continue eating their ice cream. Then the vibrant pink-haired brother decided to break the silence.

He mumbles one word, but you can't hear it at all.

"What?" You ask while turning your head to him.

"I said I'm sorry."

"For what??"

You ask your brother, feeling confused by his apologies.

"Well, to be honest, I don't even know. But I wanted to apologize, if... I had done wrongs to you..." His voice lowered at the end of the sentence.

Your eyes widen slightly, taken aback by the unexpected change in his demeanor. His behavior is unpredictable and this sudden display of kindness caught you off guard. You couldn't help but feel a bit shocked by his sudden shift in attitude.

You feel a sense of panic rising within you as you ask your brother, "I-is the world ending?!" The new emotions he's displaying leave you stuttering, struggling to find the right words to express your concern. You can't help but wonder what could have happened to make him feel this way.

"Shut up... Let's go home." Your brother's tone now changed into his typical monotone voice. He completely switched off his emotions and became uninterested in the conversation that was taking place. As if the conversation just now never existed.

You giggle at his normal self coming back. You almost called mom to tell her the end of the world is near.

Both of the siblings now walking their way to their home.

"Please tell me that you'll forgive me," he murmurs.

"If you apologize to me again."

Saiki stopped walking and thought about it.

"With tears-"

"Get out of my face..." he tells his s/b while walking away.

You ran until you reached his side and wrapped your arms around his neck. You thought you'd fall, but for having a physic's brother, that's not gonna happen.

"I'm just kidding!! Of course, I'm gonna forgive my brother!" You giggle softly.

He just let out an annoying sigh for the affection his little sibling is giving.

He can't deny, that deep down he really likes it.

"Wait hold on, so you're saying that you change everyone's mind to not be friends with Y/n??"

Kusuke asks Saiki for a 'brother talk'. At first, Saiki wants to avoid it. But for some reason, it feels important so he just gives it a go.

Now both of the brothers are sitting on the small wooden porch outside.

The younger brother's voice lacked any hint of emotion as he uttered the words, "For their own safety." His tone was flat and monotone as if he had rehearsed the line countless times before delivering it.

Kusuke, on the other hand, couldn't hide the disgust on his face. He scrunched up his features in a display of anger and disbelief and directed his gaze towards his brother. "Just how cruel are you?" he asked, his voice laced with accusation.

"Got a problem with that??"

"Uh yes. Don't you know how lonely Y/n gets for not having any friends?"

"I don't want Y/n to be frustrated to have friends like me-"

"Well, that's a YOU problem. Y/n is not like you. You'll be okay with or without a friend."

Saiki's mind goes blank as he hears his brother's words. He raises his eyes toward the dark, starry sky, searching for some kind of sign or guidance. He can't help but wonder if he made a mistake.

As he sits there, lost in thought, his brother's voice breaks through the silence again.

"Don't you want Y/n to be happy?"

Those words hit Saiki like a ton of arrows, and suddenly, he feels a surge of emotion. He feels a knot in his throat and realizes that he may have been selfish in his actions and that his brother has a point. He takes a deep breath and looks down at the ground, feeling a sense of regret. Maybe he shouldn't have acted the way he did in the first place.

"I'll think about it." That's all the pink-haired male said before standing up and walking inside the house.

'You better...' Kusuke thought, still sitting outside admiring the moon.

Bonus:

The blue-haired female plopped to her bed with a smile. The light is off and the only source of light is the moon shines through the window.

'Today I discovered that Saiki has a little sibling. They're so cute not gonna lie! But-'

"From all of those conversations we have..."

"NOT A SINGLE OHF SOUND HAS BEEN HEARD COMING OUT OF THEIR MOUTH."

'Like brother like little sibling huh?' She thought before drifting off to sleep.

｡⁠*⁠♡ Weird... fact!: Kusuke actually places some mini CCTV in the house, school, your classroom, convenience store, and around the neighborhood. (Overprotective brother)

Btw I haven't looked deeply for any mistake in this chapter. I'M SO TIRED I NEED A YEAR OF SLEEP.
